While your friends and family are busy compiling their best Black Friday deals, Fantasy Life has you covered with dynasty "Black Friday" deals. Looking to score some deals on undervalued assets? Here are four players you should be targeting this Black Friday weekend.

Quentin Johnston, WR - Chargers

The post-hype sleeper is strong with this one.

Just one year after then-rookie Quentin Johnston was proclaimed a fantasy football bust, he suddenly, quietly turned his career arc around.

Despite a few brutal performances this season, Johnston is actually playing well. He's playing 78% of the snaps, earning a 19% target share, and seeing a 31% air yards share.

The Chargers revamped their offense this offseason by letting go of both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams and pivoting their offensive game plan to a run-first system. However, over the last few weeks, those trends have shifted in favor of Justin Herbert and the passing game.

In his recent Utilization Report, here's what Dwain McFarland had to say about the shift in Los Angeles:

"With Herbert healthy, the Chargers have posted a positive DBOE in four of six games since their bye. Before the bye, they were one of the most run-heavy offenses in the NFL, with a 49% drop back rate. That number has climbed to 58% in games since the bye."

Some of the extra attention is focused on rookie Ladd McConkey, but Johnston is well on his way to turning his career around (even in Year 2). Dynasty managers looking to get in on this revitalized offense should happily pivot to Johnston (WR45) as the discount to McConkey (WR18).

Jaylen Wright, RB - Dolphins

Currently valued as a low-end RB3 (RB36), rookie Jaylen Wright is in a perplexing spot from a dynasty perspective.

On one hand, he's stuck behind rising stud De'Von Achane, who is arguably the closest player comp to Christian McCaffrey that we've seen. Beyond that, he's even been playing behind old man Raheem Mostert (no offense, Mr. Mostert).

So, why am I including Wright as a potential "Black Friday" deal? It's the untapped upside and potential that he brings in what has become a perfect landing spot for players with speed.

The Dolphins traded up to select Wright in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. One of the younger players in this draft, he posted a 4.38 40-yard dash and topped 95th percentile scores in the 40-yard dash, speed score, and burst score.

His age and speed score jump off the screen in our Rookie RB Model.

Dwain was recently quoted as saying that, if Achane were to get injured, Wright…

“...would share time with Mostert, but has already by-passed the veteran as the No. 2 rushing option over the last two games. Wright has big-play ability and we love the Dolphins offense.”

We know the RB position is one of high attrition. Regardless of where your dynasty team is at right now, Wright is undervalued and would bring both the potential for immediate and long-term value to your roster.

Jerry Jeudy, WR - Browns

Despite being toward the bottom of this article, Jerry Jeudy could push for being the most valuable dynasty asset of them all, depending on your specific roster and league.

The former first-round pick has had an up-and-down career thus far, but over the last four games with Jameis Winston as his QB, he's been playing on another level.

His underlying metrics like route participation (97%), target share (24%), air yards share (29%), and Utilization Score (8.0) are everything we want to see in an ascending, dominating wideout.

Here's another way to look at his last month of production:

  • 9.0 targets
  • 4.8 receptions
  • 94.7 receiving yards
  • 17 PPR

The best part about Jeudy is that he's still incredibly young. At just 25 years old, and already in his fifth season, there's still room and opportunity for him to grow alongside a new QB in a rebuilt offense.

Yes, the early portions of his career were disappointing relative to expectations, but I am always in favor of taking swings on young, talented wideouts in any/all dynasty formats.

If you're looking for something more specific about how to value Jeudy (or any player) as it relates to the rest of this season, make sure to check out our Trade Analyzer.

DeMario Douglas, WR - Patriots

Coming in right behind Jeudy at WR58DeMario Douglas is putting together a respectable season, all things considered.

The second-year player is well on his way to topping all of his marks from Year 1, and since Week 3, he's been a serviceable fantasy asset for your team as a flex option. He's averaging right around 10 PPG.

The biggest news out of New England over the last few weeks has been the amazing play by rookie QB Drake Maye. Despite not having many/any legitimate offensive weapons, he's been a high-end fantasy performer.

In his five full games, Maye is averaging 23+ points per game. He's also averaging more than 37 rushing yards per game. That's elite fantasy production.

Certainly, some of that production is tied to players like Douglas.

He's not a household name, and the Patriots haven't had any viable pass-catchers for quite some time. Even so, if you can secure 10 points/game at basement-level prices in dynasty formats, with the possibility of a larger role and more production in the future, you have to take that opportunity when you can.

Yes, the Patriots could sign someone like Tee Higgins in free agency next offseason, but I believe that the overall growth of Maye and this offense will keep someone like Douglas in fantasy consideration moving forward.
