It would have been basically impossible to top Alvin Kamara’s 172 yard and 6 TD performance in Week 16, but Davante Adams almost found a way. Adams had his way with the Titans secondary to the tune of 11 receptions for 142 yards and 3 TDs.
I had a championship matchup where I had a very comfortable lead thanks to Mike Evans and Myles Gaskin--two of the other Week 16 heroes--and I nearly Atlanta Falcons’d it thanks to my opponents’ Aaron Rodgers and Adams stack.
Other championship-winning performances included AJ Dillon (124 yards and 2 TDs), Michael Gallup (6-121-2), David Johnson (139 yards & 2 TDs), Brandin Cooks (7-141-1), and Jamison Crowder (100+ yards, 1 receiving TD, and 1 passing TD).
It might not have won anyone a championship but my guy Laviska Shenault hauled in a grown ass man-worthy TD and is presumably already licking his chops at the prospect of catching deep balls from Trevor Lawrence next year.
Fun fact that you might not know: Mark Andrews had two dropped TDs yesterday. How do I know? Well, I played him in my main DraftKings lineup yesterday. I broke down the pain on my Youtube channel.
The NFL plans to expand the regular season to 17 games in 2021 Full details here.
Tonight we get Bills at Patriots. Not too much news on the injury front. The big question is who wins out between the unstoppable force (Josh Allen and the Bills aggressive passing game) or the immovable object (Bill Belichick defenses mucking up games).
