#27 The Steelers-Titans Game Won’t Take Place In Week 4

Posted on

The NFL has officially decided to reschedule the Pittsburgh-Tennessee game to later in the season after another Titans player and team personnel tested positive for COVID. No date has been set yet, but we do know the game will not apply to Week 4 scoring so make sure to get your James Conners and Derrick Henrys out of your lineup.

We knew this kind of chaos was coming, but it’s still a splash of cold water on the face after running pure through the first three weeks. Between postponements and a rash of soft tissue injuries, Week 4 feels more like a mid-season week with multiple byes that has us all scrambling to submit a full starting lineup.

Maybe I’m sick, but I do get a twisted joy out of spot starting a guy like Travis Homer or Hunter Renfrow. Here’s everything else you need to know today…

  • As someone who really wants to see either D’Andre Swift or Kerryon Johnson emerge in the Detroit backfield, every Adrian Peterson touch destroys a small piece of me. Sounds like I need to get used to it
  • Mike Clay is back with his Week 4 shadow report highlighting the wide receivers with plus and negative individual matchups. You can get ESPN+ as part of a Rotopass sub
  • The Dolphins love Myles Gaskin. I’ve still seen him floating on some waiver wires (I know, I know, not *your* league), but he absolutely needs to be rostered in 100% of leagues.
  • Fun stat from Matthew and Field Yates about Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes
