#77 🎁 Tyreek & The Big Dog Broke The Slate + Cyber Monday Sale

Posted on

The best deal of the last decade was buying Bitcoin at $1 in 2011. The best deals on Sunday were Tyreek Hill ($7,800) and Derrick Henry ($7,900) on DraftKings. And the best deal today, on this glorious Cyber Monday, is in the Fantasy Life store where everything is marked down.

My favorite shirt right now is the hyper-generic “Fantasy Team” shirt in homage of the Washington Football Team. I’m also, of course, partial to the “Deposit King” and “got RBs?” pieces, but I’m sure there’s something in there for you or the fantasy obsessive in your life.

Alright, now that you are decked out head-to-toe in fantasy gear, let’s recap a wild Week 12 slate…

The NFL insisted on the show going on yesterday, despite teams like the Broncos rolling out a practice-squad WR at QB after their entire QB room was placed on the COVID-19 list. The result was as gross as you would have imagined with the Broncos losing 31-3 to the Saints.

The show will continue on Tuesday as well, despite the Ravens not having their franchise QB, their starting running backs, their Pro Bowl TE and FB, and half of both their offensive and defensive line. If that seems like a lot, it’s because it is. Oh, and the Steelers won’t have James Conner either.

I don’t have the answer. I know postponing these games to future weeks is a scheduling nightmare, but I hoped the league would have built in more contingencies for these situations when outlining the season from the get go.

Anyways, what else happened yesterday? Panthers rookie safety Jeremy Chinn returned two fumbles for touchdowns...on back-to-back plays. Wild. The aforementioned Hill and Henry went absolutely nuclear and you needed both of them in your DFS lineups to win any significant amount of coin. I recapped my Week 12 DFS lineups that sadly didn’t have any combos with both of them on my Youtube channel this morning.

Austin Ekeler (16 targets!) and Deebo Samuel (11 receptions) both returned from their absences and put up monster days. The “Injury Return Model” is basically undefeated this year. Last night on Splash Play, Chris Spags and I discussed the injured players who are close to returning and winning your league for you.

I’d recap SNF, but a) I was watching the Undoing finale instead and b) I’m not that much of a masochist

It sounds like Daniel Jones’ hamstring injury is pretty bad...Anthony Lynn made some mind-bogglingly bad decisions yesterday...Russell Wilson might be done cooking...A.J. Brown continued to do Grown Ass Man things...Mina Kimes helping David Chang win a million for charity is so sick.

Tonight we get Seahawks-Eagles. We’ll be back tomorrow with some Week 13 waiver pick-ups and previewing the Ravens-Steelers game. Have a truly blessed Cyber Monday.
