Yesterday’s NFL action yielded an impressive amount of fantasy points.
Surging playoff teams continued to ride the Titans, David Montgomery, Calvin Ridley, and rookie running backs to massive scores.
Zero RB and Zero QB teams surged with guys like Tony Pollard and Jalen Hurts providing lift to the WR fire power at just the right time.
On the other side of the coin, some who had a bye week fell flat on their face with disappointing performances from Keenan Allen on Thursday, Davante Adams on Saturday, and relatively quiet performances from the Chiefs studs yesterday.
Other Week 15 highlights: Opposite of Hurts, Kyler Murray returned to his mid-season ways, throwing for 406 yards and combining for 4 TDs...DeAndre Hopkins was on the receiving end of 169 of those yards and found the end zone as well...The Jets shocked the Rams in a 23-20 upset where they were 16.5 point underdogs. Sean McVay needs to get this figured out asap…Logan Thomas had 13 catches for 101 yards, further validating why Matthew had him as his #1 overall pick in leagues this year 😎.
Injury rundown. Clyde Edwards-Helaire is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season with a high ankle sprain...Jeff Wilson Jr. suffered an ankle injury during Sunday’s game vs. Dallas...Raheem Mostert also sustained an ankle injury. We’ll have more injury fallout tomorrow.
Loose ends. DFS was tough yesterday. I had a Ryan Tannehill double stack that barely cashed because of all the high scores. Broke down some of my teams on my YouTube channel earlier...Hurts (4 total TDs) is the real deal. Doug Pederson laughably said he still has a tough decision at QB...The Panthers fired their GM Marty Hurney...The cinematic quality of the Seahawks-WFT broadcast was...maybe too good?
