Anytime Touchdown Scorer Bets For Week 13: TD Time For Tony Pollard
The Thanksgiving slate is behind us, so let's look ahead to Geoff's favorite anytime touchdown scorer bets for Week 13 and the weekend slate:
TD props are a fun way to be football. Who doesn’t love cashing in on big plays and guys finding paydirt? At the same time, the overall TD market is often laden with poor to questionable pricing as books generally have a big hold on many of the TD bets they offer.
There are also pockets of value to be found in this kind of market and every week I’ll be going through trying to find the best TD props for you using the FantasyLife+ projections. We’ll also be line shopping with the Fantasy Life prop finder tool, which allows you to shop for the best prices across all the major sportsbooks in a flash.
Let’s dive into Week 13 and see what the FantasyLife+ tools can unearth for the next big slate of the season.
Anytime TD Scorer Prop Bets For Week 13
Tony Pollard anytime TD (+130; FanDuel)
I love this spot for Pollard, who seems to be over a foot issue that plagued him mid-season and is coming off a massive game against the Texans.
With Tyjae Spears out last week, Pollard played on 64 snaps vs the Texans, took 24 carries, and scored his first TD since Week 6, on a hard-charging effort from the 11-yard-line.
Spears (questionable; concussion) may be back this week but even if he is it doesn’t hurt Pollard’s TD-upside as the veteran has remained the clearcut short down and distance (SDD) option and inside the five (I5) runner for the Titans all year.
The Commanders (Pollard’s Week 13 opponent) have also regressed hard on defense of late, and enter this game now ranked 28th in EPA per rush. For the season, they’ve allowed 11 rushing TDs (the fifth-most in the league) and have allowed eight TDs to opposing RBs over their last seven games.
With the Commanders' offense also starting to show cracks and Will Levis also playing better, it should create more opportunities for Pollard inside the red zone again, who looked terrific running the ball all game vs a tougher rush defense in Houston in Week 12.
With his anytime TD price as high as +130, it doesn’t look like his recent resurgent or this great matchup has been baked fully into his odds just yet–making him a great player to start our cards with for Week 13.
Brian Thomas Anytime TD (+210; bet365)
It may sound a little gross to go looking at the Jaguars offensive players for an anytime TD bet, but I do like buying into the proverbial fear in this spot, specifically for standout rookie Brian Thomas.
Thomas is not only coming off a bye, and should have had a chance to rest up some nagging injuries from mid-season, but he’ll also likely be getting a massive QB upgrade in Week 13 with Trevor Lawrence on track to return.
With Lawrence as his starter, Thomas scored a TD in five of his first nine games played and saw at least one end zone target in five of those nine games as well.
Even if Lawrence sits, this is still a great spot for Thomas, who will be up against a Houston secondary that loves to give up big plays. On the season, the Texans have given up 17 TDs to opposing WRs, the most in the NFL to date. Earlier in the year, in Week 4, Thomas posted one of his best games of the season against the Texans, going for 6 receptions, 86 yards, and a TD on 9 targets.
The price isn’t huge, but with the Texans showing some major cracks of late and the Jaguars potentially getting a huge boost with Lawrence back, I’m happy to play Thomas to find the endzone again this week down to +200.
Jaylen Warren Anytime TD (+240; bet365)
I like Jaylen Warren’s chances of posting a big game this week.
The Steelers RB is taking on a Bengals rush defense that is 30th in EPA per rush and 31st in success rate vs the run. For the season, the Bengals have now allowed 11 rushing TDs to opposing RBs, which is tied for the fifth-most in the league, and have allowed four TDs to opposing RBs over their last three games alone.
Matchup aside, Warren is also starting to eat into lead back Najee Harris’ workload. Warren out-snapped Harris 39-27 in their loss to the Browns and over their last three games Warren has only played nine fewer snaps than Harris (100 Warren to 109 Harris).
Warren has always been the far more efficient of the two Pittsburgh backs and since he’s recovered from an early season hamstring injury the gap between Warren and Harris is starting to widen again. Over their last two games, Warren has averaged 4.8 yards per carry to Harris’ 3.05, and that discrepancy in production finally led to Warren getting an I5 carry against the Browns, which he converted for his first score of the season.
I think Steelers OC Arthur Smith may be starting to warm up to Warren and with his anytime TD odds sitting at more than double Harris’ (whose anytime TD odds are +100 or smaller at most books this week) this is a great time to add him to the card.
He’s available as big as +240 on FanDuel, but I’d be fine playing him down to +210 if need be.
Kimani Vidal Anytime TD (+600; FanDuel)
The Chargers lost J.K. Dobbins for multiple weeks against the Ravens, so this sets up as the perfect time for them to get their rookie Kimani Vidal more involved in case they need him for the playoff run.
Vidal has already played in a few games this season while Gus Edwards was out and while the Chargers limited his usage to relief work, he did manage a score on a beautiful catch and run against the Broncos' tough defense in Week 6.
I do not expect Vidal to get main carries in this spot, but I do think that he offers more versatility than Edwards, who managed just 11 yards on 9 carries last week, and that should get him onto the field for portions of this game.
The Falcons' defense has also been particularly terrible at covering RBs out of the backfield, allowing 3 receiving TDs to opposing RBs and 68 catches to the position, which is the third most in the league.
This is a long shot, but I expect the Chargers to rotate their three remaining backs pretty heavily so with Vidal having both the longest odds and best-receiving ability (against a poor coverage unit) he makes sense as the one to target this week.

Good Luck in Week 13!
