The 2026 Super Bowl odds are now out and we have a new king in town, so Geoff Ulrich is here to break down not only what the top of the odds board looks like, but whether or not we'll see a repeat in 2026 …
2026 Super Bowl Betting Odds
The Philadelphia Eagles, who beat the Chiefs 40-22 in one of the most lopsided Super Bowl wins in recent decades, moved to sole favorites last night after the win and now sit at +600 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down the Eagles' chances for a repeat below.
Can the Philadelphia Eagles repeat as Super Bowl Champions in 2026?
The Eagles look like a team set to contend over both the short and long haul. They have a QB in Jalen Hurts who is 26 and is signed through 2028. They are loaded at WR with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, have a stud RB in Saquon Barkley who has had limited injuries the past couple of seasons—and looks ready to run things back in 2025-26—and have a defense that is loaded everywhere.
Their biggest worry might be losing a coordinator (Kellen Moore is gone) or some other kind of disturbance, like Brown asking for a trade. Those are both scenarios that could be overcome by a savvy GM like Howie Roseman, so short of a Hurts injury, the Eagles look like likely contenders again next season and are certainly worthy favorites.
Can the Chiefs rebound in 2025-26?
The Chiefs aren’t in a terrible spot, but when comparing them to the Eagles you can see why Philadelphia is favored. Most of their star players are in their 30s now, with Travis Kelce a potential retirement candidate. Chris Jones is nearing the end of his prime and the Chiefs offensive skill players looked very ordinary outside of Xavier Worthy in the Super Bowl.
This team rode their veterans to three Super Bowls but it looks like they need an infusion of younger blood, which makes them a more volatile team going into next season than the Eagles.
They have dropped back to +700 and it’s likely for good reason. However, assuming Reid comes back it’s not outlandish to think that number may drop a little before next season, if they have a good draft—or make a move to improve their O-Line or offensive skill positions. I could still see them starting next year as co-favorites with the Eagles, just given Mahomes’ track record.
Super Bowl 2026 Longshot Bets – Who else could contend for the Super Bowl in 2026?
Cincinnati Bengals +1800
The Bengals will be a team with a lot of eyeballs on them this offseason. Their offense was one of the best in the league in 2024-25 and QB Joe Burrow finished 4th in MVP voting, despite the Bengals missing the postseason.
If they can sign or replace Tee Higgins and improve the defense at the draft or via Free Agency, I’d expect these odds may be much lower come next August.
Denver Broncos +3500
The Broncos are a team on the rise. They have a legit starting QB in Bo Nix who will have a year of experience under him in 2026 and a veteran head coach in Sean Payton who has won the Super Bowl before.
If the Chiefs dynasty is closing, Denver looks best suited to replace them in the AFC West next season.
Arizona Cardinals +7000
Look, it’s the offseason—and very early in the offseason—so we can dream a little. The Cardinals are in a suddenly very wide-open division and have a mobile QB who can break the game open with his legs, much the same way Eagles QB Jalen Hurts does for his squad.
Obviously, the Cardinals would need a huge boost on defense, but after building their O-Line and skill positions through the draft they’re in a good position to do that this offseason. The Rams and 49ers are good teams but have a lot of question marks going into next season, so if they do take a step back, the Cardinals could be in a great position to prosper as a result next year.
If you like the Cardinals, this is a solid time to back them at big odds (just don’t get a tattoo like this guy in case it doesn’t work out).
