A quick note before we begin: I rank all 134 FBS teams weekly — if you're here, you're probably going to enjoy that, as well (we have strength of schedule and projected wins, too!). I also have a projected playoff bracket. After the bracket is announced Sunday, we'll have extensive coverage of all the matchups, as well as predictions, projections, and more!

Below each game's odds, you'll see my CFB model's spread. For a much deeper dive into that system, I have a full college football game model based on my projections, for all the games this weekend.

For more Title Game picks, I also have a giant column full of stats, props, scouting, and projections — including the MAC, Big 12, and Sun Belt (and more!). Enjoy!

SEC Championship | Atlanta, GA | Saturday: Texas vs. Georgia

Texas QB Quinn Ewers was able to play through his ankle injury last week against Texas A&M. But he didn’t appear to be 100-percent, and that will likely be the case again this weekend against Georgia.

In other crucial Texas injury news, HC Steve Sarkisian said LT Kelvin Banks Jr. is in a similar situation to Ewers – not fully-healthy, but also not likely to miss this game. Banks and his fellow starting OL cratered in the last matchup against Georgia. The Longhorns not only need Banks out there, they need him at his best on Saturday. Particularly with Ewers’ mobility compromised.

Georgia RB Branson Robinson is likely out again with an MCL injury. HC Kirby Smart says the team is "hopeful" to have Robinson back for the postseason. Meanwhile, UGA RB1 Trevor Etienne has been sidelined since Week 12.

In the prop market, we’re going under on Ewers’ 240.5 passing yards. Ewers hasn’t topped that number since Nov. 9 against a decimated Florida team. In the first game against Georgia, Ewers attempted 43 passes but managed only 211 passing yards.

We also like the under on Georgia WR Dillon Bell at 43.5 receiving yards. Bell has gone under this number in seven-of-11 games this year, and has topped it only once since mid-October. He had three catches for 15 yards against Texas’ outstanding pass defense in the first game.

But we like the over on Georgia QB Carson Beck’s 33.5 passing attempts. The Bulldogs’ offense has become decidedly pass-centric, even more so after the RB injuries. In this pivotal game, Georgia is going to put the game in Beck’s hands and let the chips fall where they may.

Thor’s Bets

  • Texas QB Quinn Ewers Under 240.5 Passing Yards
  • Georgia QB Carson Beck Over 33.5 Passing Attempts
  • Georgia WR Dillon Bell Under 43.5 Receiving Yards
