Just two weeks after releasing my first 2023 NFL mock draft, a lot has changed in the football world. Draft odds are shifting by the minute as rumors are swirling. There has been no bigger shift than who the Carolina Panthers will select with the No. 1 overall pick. While many assumed Carolina traded up with the Bears for Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, the odds have shifted heavily in favor of Alabama’s Bryce Young. Who do I have the Panthers picking?

Let’s dig in.

1. Carolina Panthers: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama

  • Rookie Rank: QB3, Superflex: 6th overall
  • Previous Pick: CJ Stroud

Following reports that Young has canceled his upcoming pre-draft visits, the former Heisman Trophy winner is now the heavy favorite (-1400 on DraftKings) to be the first pick of the draft

Reports are that the if the coaching staff had their way, Stroud would be the pick, but that Panthers general manager Scott Fitterer and owner David Tepper prefer Young. Our own Dwain McFarland said Bryce Young is “the best pure passer in the class.”

Young is a fade at his current ADP. The ‘Bama passer will be a rookie QB who won’t add much in the running game and he’ll be surrounded by an anemic roster. Young will struggle to pay off his current price tag. In rookie drafts, his Superflex ADP is higher than I have him ranked as my QB3.

2.  Houston Texans: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky

  • Rookie Rank: QB4, Superflex: 9th overall
  • Previous Pick: Bryce Young

It’s no secret that Bryce Young is atop the Texans’ draft board. However, Houston reportedly has Levis, not C.J. Stroud as their QB2.

A week ago, Levis sat as high as 25-1 to be the second overall pick, now he is down to +600 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

You can take advantage of the value that is still there and get $150 in bonus bets by signing up for a new DraftKings Sportsbook account. Simply sign up below and place a $5 pre-game moneyline bet. If your bet wins, you'll get $150 in bonus bets. Claim your offer below and start betting today!

While the Texans are linked to edge rushers Will Anderson Jr. and Tyree Wilson, Houston would be smart to nab their QB2 and build around him, especially with the divisional rival Colts sitting at fourth overall with a big hole on their depth chart at QB. If Levis is the Texans’ QB2, Houston can’t pass on him and let him play in the AFC South for the next decade.

Consistently compared to Josh Allen, Levis stands at 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds and is the second most-athletic QB in the class — and perhaps the most under-appreciated fantasy asset in the 2023 draft class.

With 17 rushing touchdowns in his career and a 95th percentile broad jump, Levis poses both the explosiveness and willingness to use his legs to make him an immediate fantasy impact.

3. Arizona Cardinals: Will Anderson, EDGE, Alabama

  • Previous Pick: Christian Gonzales (trade down)

The Cardinals are reportedly trying to trade out to a team that wants to jump the Colts, but with the uncertainty around the top two picks, Arizona might be stuck with the third pick. Their consultation prize just so happens to be the draft's best player.

For the past two years, Will Anderson Jr. has proven himself to be the most dominant pass rusher in college football, boasting a whopping 14 more QB pressures than any other player.

4. Indianapolis Colts: CJ Stroud, QB, Ohio State

  • Rookie Rank: QB2, Superflex: 3rd overall
  • Previous Pick: Will Levis

They say patience is a virtue and the Colts’ restraint is rewarded with my No. 1 QB in the draft CJ Stroud. Two weeks ago Stroud was the odds-on favorite to be the first selection, just last week he was 35-1 to be the fourth overall pick, now he sits at +300 to be the fourth overall selection.

If you think there is still meat on the bone, you can bet this at DraftKings Sportsbook, where you can also get $150 in bonus bets if your first bet (must be a $5+ pre-game moneyline bet) wins. Take advantage of the offer and sign up below!

The Colts are a much more fantasy-friendly environment for Stroud than the Panthers would have been. He will play home games in a dome and get Jonathan TaylorMichael Pittman, and Alec Pierce as weapons instead of the skeleton crew in Carolina. However, Stroud is an avoid for me in year one in fantasy — as Ian Hartitz pointed out — a successful rookie QB almost always offers a rushing floor that Stroud has yet to show in his career.

5. Tennessee Titans (trade, via Seahawks): Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida

  • Rookie Rank: QB1, Superflex: 2nd overall
  • Previous Pick: Will Anderson Jr.
Anthony Richardson

[Doug Engle/Gainesville Sun] Ncaa Football Florida Gators Vs Lsu Tigers Syndication Ocala Starbanner

With three of the top quarterbacks off the board, the Titans don’t wait any longer to pull the trigger on a trade-up for Anthony Richardson

The Titans' interest in Richardson seems to be picking up steam, as evidenced by their odds to draft him on FanDuel plummeting from +850 to +200. They are the current favorites to draft Richardson

With a clear affinity for athletic signal-callers, the Titans might see Richardson as a promising prospect who could benefit from learning behind Ryan Tannehill before taking the field. While it’s lying season, it’s hard to deny that where there's smoke, there's fire. And it appears that the Titans are seriously considering making a move for the dynamic quarterback.

While Richarson may not play right away, as soon as he hits the field he will offer some of the highest weekly upside in fantasy. After all, he is the most athletic QB in NFL Scouting Combine history.

6. Detroit Lions: Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois

  • Previous Pick: Tyree Wilson

If reports are true that the Lions don’t want to draft a replacement for Jared Goff, it is hard to imagine a better scenario for them. This team needs defensive help and the pick will likely come down to either cornerback or EDGE.

The Lions are reportedly all in on Devon Witherspoon who currently sits at -110 to be the 6th overall pick. The lowest odds of any selection outside of the first overall pick.

After all, the Lions' defense was nothing short of abysmal last season, giving up the most yards per game in the NFL (392.4). But, a dominant corner can change things quickly, just look at the Jets last season.

7. Las Vegas Raiders: Tyree Wilson, EDGE, Texas Tech

  • Previous Pick: Devon Witherspoon

While Jimmy Garoppolo probably isn’t the man to turn things around in Sin City, there are no realistic alternatives left for the Raiders.

The Raiders' defense is in dire need of an infusion of talent in the secondary, having given up a staggering 242.9 passing yards per game during the 2022 season, the fourth most in the NFL.

Tyree Wilson has a prop of 6.5, so this is the exact range he is expected to hear his name called.

8. Atlanta Falcons: Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas

  • Rookie Rank: RB1, Superflex: 1st overall
  • Previous pick: Bijan Robinson

While I would not select a running back in the top 10, I am not in charge of the Atlanta Falcons’ draft.

As ESPN’s Jordan Reid wrote in his latest mock draft, “Since general manager Terry Fontenot and coach Arthur Smith took over in 2021, they have placed value on taking the best player available in Round 1.”

Robinson checks in as NFL Media’s draft guru Daniel Jeremiah’s third overall player and would fit the model of the Falcons' recent draft history.

Robinson is a generational prospect with little-to-no holes in his game and the Falcons' run-first mentality would be a dream fantasy landing spot. The Falcons threw the ball 13.1% below expectation last season, the second-lowest PROE in football. That was with a stable of journeyman running backs and a fifth-round rookie in Tyler Allgeier, not the best running back prospect since arguably Adrian Peterson.

Robinson to the Falcons would nuke any value Allgeier has.

The Falcons have dropped from +3300 to +250 to be the landing spot for Robinson, currently the betting favorite.

You can start drafting Robinson before the Falcons potentially do thanks to Underdog Fantasy. Double your deposit of up to $100 by signing up for a new Underdog account below and start drafting today!

9. Chicago Bears: Paris Johnson Jr., OT, Ohio State

  • Previous Pick: Broderick Jones

There are rumors the Bears and Steelers have been discussing a pick swap here, allowing the Steelers to take the draft's best offensive lineman. However, I have the Bears staying put and taking the tackle with the highest ceiling in the draft, Paris Johnson Jr.

Bears general manager Ryan Poles covets length and physical traits, and Johnson will hit his marks. A recent clip from the Bears showed what the Bears factor in when looking at analytical player profiles.

10. Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia

  • Previous Pick: Jalen Carter
Jalen Carter

Carter has told teams outside of the top 10 that he won’t take a visit, which tells me he knows his floor is the Eagles.

The rich get richer as the Eagles land Jalen Carter, the top prospect on many experts' boards prior to his off-field incident this offseason

The Eagles sit at +200 to draft a defensive lineman with their first pick after successfully retaining both Darius Slay and James Bradberry in free agency. They did, however, lose multiple defensive starters and need to retool on defense. This is a bet that offers fantastic value.

The addition of Carter to the team is a home run for the Eagles, given his impressive track record. He will pair exceptionally well with his former Georgia teammate and Eagles' 2022 first-round pick Jordan Davis.

11.  Seattle Seahawks (trade, via Titans): Nolan Smith, EDGE, Georgia

  • Previous Pick: Will Anderson Jr.

A former No. 1 overall high-school prospect in 2019, Nolan Smith's athletic testing was off the charts, highlighted by his remarkable 99th percentile 10-yard split, 40-yard dash, 98th percentile vertical jump, and 95th percentile broad jump results.

Although his sack production may have been less than desired, Smith’s numerous tackles for losses and disruptive plays demonstrate his value on the field. This kind of pressure is precisely what the Seahawks desperately need, given their lackluster performance in this area in 2022, with a PFF pressure grade of just 65.1, leaving them ranked a disappointing 28th overall.

12. Houston Texans: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State

  • Rookie Rank: WR1, Superflex: 5th overall
  • Previous Pick: Jaxon Smith-Njigba

If the WR rookie supermodel has shown us anything, it's that this great pick for the Texans. Smith-Njigba is Dwain McFarland’s clear-cut WR1, and for great reason.

Despite missing most of the 2023 season due to injury, Smith-Njigba's sophomore season was a truly dominant display of his abilities.

Widely known for his dynamic route-running, he has also showcased exceptional acceleration and change-of-direction skills, evidenced by his 97th percentile 20-yard shuttle and 96th percentile 3-cone results — both considered elite benchmarks.

Per PFF data, the Ohio State product delivered a 15-plus yard reception on 34% of his plays, which ranks in the 92nd percentile since 2017.

This is a dream fantasy landing spot, with both short and long-term upside. The Houston Texans, despite lacking an experienced quarterback, boast the draft's premier pure passer in Bryce Young, and with no major contenders in Smith-Njigba's path for securing the team's target lead, he is poised for success.

The Texans' current WR roster, featuring Robert Woods, Nico Collins, Noah Brown, and (hopefully) John Metchie, is arguably the weakest in the league, creating an ideal scenario for Smith-Njigba to claim a top-15 workload from the outset.

13. New York Jets: Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern

  • Previous Pick: Peter Skoronski

The Jets bring New Jersey native Peter Skoronski home to help protect their soon-to-be, QB Aaron Rodgers.

The Jets are playing in a two-year window, and with plenty of future draft capital likely heading to Green Bay, hitting on this pick at a premium position is critical to their future.

The books agree that the Jets are on the hunt for help on the offensive line, as they are currently -200 to draft an offensive lineman with their first-round pick, which is worth betting on FanDuel.

With 38-year-old Duane Brown and oft-injured Mehki Becton the projected starters, both tackles have major question marks. In addition, last year's major free-agent signing, Laken Tomlinson, was a complete bust in his first year.

Skoronski should bring much-needed versatility to the Jets' offensive front.

He tested as an elite athlete and dominated in the Big Ten, but his fourth-percentile arm length has some teams questioning if he is a guard or tackle at the next level.

The Jets need both, so he fits in perfectly.

14. New England Patriots: Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia

  • Previous Pick: Devon Witherspoon

The Patriots need help on the offensive side of the ball, with WR and OL being the two positional favorites for the team’s first selection. Jones has a draft prop line of 13.5, so this is the exact range he is expected to hear his name called.

Jones is said to be higher on NFL team boards than the media assumes. ESPN’s Jordan Reid says, “Don't be surprised if Jones is the top offensive tackle off the board. I continue to hear his name in this range. Jones might have the most upside of the tackles in this class.”

15. Green Bay Packers: Jordan Addison, WR, USC

  • Rookie Rank: WR3, Superflex Rank: 8th overall
  • Previous Pick: Nolan Smith
Jordan Addison

With the Packers losing Allen Lazard and likely Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay will need to give new starter Jordan Love more weapons to play with.

Jordan Addison has the potential to be a game-changer while creating a dynamic pairing with second-year stud Christian Watson. Addison’s impressive resume as a true sophomore includes being awarded the coveted Biletnikoff Award, bestowed upon the nation's top receiver. After joining USC, he quickly became a favored target for quarterback Caleb Williams.

There is a ton to like about Addison and the fit in Green Bay. He had a 32% career dominator rating, earning 2.42 yards per target per team pass attempt throughout his career, the second-highest rate in the class. He played both inside and outside and showed a propensity to get open throughout his career, regardless of if he was at Pittsburgh or USC.

While Addison's abilities are noteworthy, there is a cause for concern regarding his lackluster combine performance. He weighed in at slender 173 pounds, and his 4.49 40-yard dash led to an 18th percentile for weight-adjusted speed.

You can bet on the Packers to draft a WR with their first selection at +300 on DraftKings Sportsbook and also get $150 in bonus bets when you sign up. Simply sign up for a new account below and place your first bet of $5 or more on any pre-game moneyline bet. If the bet wins, you get $150 in bonus bets.

16. Washington Commanders: Joey Porter Jr, CB, Penn State

  • Previous Pick: Joey Porter Jr.

Yes, this is the son of former Steelers star Joey Porter. NFL genes are often appreciated within NFL circles, but Porter is more than just a nepo baby.

Porter is a long, rangy athlete, with a size and speed combination rarely seen at the position. While his ball skills leave something to be desired, he allowed only one play of 15+ yards in 2023, per PFF.

17. Pittsburgh Steelers: Darnell Wright, OT, Tennessee

  • Previous Pick: Darnell Wright

Darnell Wright is a mountain of a man who has been dominating the SEC since earning first-team all-freshman team.

The five-star recruit lived up to the hype, finishing his senior year strong. Against Alabama, Georgia, and Clemson — three of the nation's top defenses — he did not allow a sack or pressure.

With the Pittsburgh Steelers must protect their 2022 first-round pick Kenny Pickett. Selecting an offensive lineman is the most logical choice. The position of the pick for the Steelers is currently tied at +140 odds between offensive line and cornerback, but given the circumstances, prioritizing the former seems to be the most sensible course of action.

18. Detroit Lions: Christian Gonzalez, CB, Oregon

  • Previous Pick: Quentin Johnston

The Lions jump for joy as Gonzalez was in play for the sixth overall pick. Pairing him with Tyree Wilson, gives the Lions the best draft class thus far.

Christian Gonzalez boasts truly elite potential. With a remarkable 9.95 RAS score, Gonzales compares favorably to Jalen Ramsey. It's rare for athletes of this caliber to remain available for long on draft night.

His prop line opened at 6.5 and has since shot up to 8.5, suggesting a draft day fall out of the top 10 is at least a possibility.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Brian Branch, DB, Alabama

  • Previous Pick: Brian Branch

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers find themselves in a sticky situation, as they have both Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask vying for the starting spot under center. While this could potentially position the Bucs to tank for USC’s Caleb Williams next year, their abundance of talent on both sides of the ball suggests that they may not be in the running for the worst team in football.

In fact, with the likes of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin still on the roster, and the return of Lavonte David, it appears that the team is not resigned to throwing in the towel next season.

Selecting Brian Branch in the upcoming draft would be a step in the right direction. While he may not play a premium position, he fills a major need at both safety and slot corner and is currently the second most consistent player mocked to the Buccaneers. This pick not only helps the team immediately but also gives them the opportunity to start over in 2024 if they choose to do so.

20. Seattle Seahawks: Lukas Van Ness, EDGE, Iowa

  • Previous Pick: Myles Murphy

Last season the Seahawks had major holes on the offensive line and addressed it by finding two starters at the tackle position. This year, Seattle has major holes on the defensive line, and could employ a similar strategy.

Walking away with both Nolan Smith and Lukas Van Ness means NFL teams should be very worried. He is an absolute steal for the Seahawks here, per Grinding the Mocks he has an EDP of 16.5

Van Ness dominated with his strength in college, consistently relying on his bull rush. The Iowa pass rusher will need to add finesse to his game at the next level. His 80th percentile 3-cone time suggests he has the athleticism to do just that.

21. Los Angeles Chargers: Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College

  • Rookie Rank: WR4, Superflex Rank: 10th overall
  • Previous Pick: Zay Flowers
Zay Flowers

Zay Flowers was Boston College’s offense for the last three seasons. While he had an opportunity to transfer before his senior year and take advantage of NIL money, Flowers chose to stay at BC and set a career-best 47% dominator rating

Per the rookie supermodel, Flowers’ 47% dominator rating was the single best score of any receiver in this class in any year of their careers.

Flowers is a player that has been shooting up boards, with ESPN’s Mel Kiper ranking Flowers as his No. 1 receiver in the class.

Flowers has the potential to be a valuable playmaker for Justin Herbert, bringing a much-needed boost to the Chargers' offense. His ability to line up across the field, stretch the field, and run after the catch makes him an ideal complement to Mike Williams.

While the Chargers appear to be a great fit for NFL success, it may be a challenge for Flowers to establish himself as a consistent fantasy asset in his rookie year. With Keenan Allen and Mike Williams already established as top targets, Flowers may find himself in a battle for weekly targets. However, it's worth noting that Joshua Palmer has proven himself capable of delivering big performances when either Williams or Allen are sidelined with injury.

22. Baltimore Ravens: Deonte Banks, CB, Maryland

  • Previous Pick: Jordan Addison

Lamar Jackson told the Ravens to go get Odell Beckham and DeAndre Hopkins and we will talk, according to Michael Lombardi. One down, one to go. If the Ravens pull it off, they will look to add to their secondary.

This cornerback class is athletic and Deonte Banks is no exception. Running a 4.35 40-yard dash, with a 98th percentile broad jump, and 97th percentile vertical jump. Banks offers size and athleticism to the Ravens.

Banks can come in and be a Day 1 starter, bolstering the Ravens’ 23rd-ranked pass defense and creating a talented tandem with Marlon Humphrey.

23. Minnesota Vikings: Jaylin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee

  • Rookie Rank: WR5, Superflex Rank: 11th overall
  • Previous Selection: Jaylin Hyatt

Betting over 3.5 WRs taken in Round 1 (-190) is one of my favorite bets. There have been 17 first-round receivers in the last three drafts as the league continues to put a premium on the position.

Despite not hitting the desired 4.2s 40-yard dash time, Hyatt's on-field performance still merits attention. Although some of the initial hype may have subsided, he impressively clocked over 22 mph multiple times while playing for Tennessee. Additionally, his explosion testing scores in the 92nd percentile for vertical jump and 97th percentile for broad jump demonstrate his incredible athletic ability.

Speed is undoubtedly one of Hyatt's strong suits, as evident in his exceptional test scores and the fact that over a quarter of his targets came on passes of 20-plus yards down the field.

Getting the No. 1 receiver on Lance Zierlien’s board to pair with the league's best receiver in Justin Jefferson will give defenses nightmares. Jefferson has not played with a true field stretcher since his days at LSU and Hyatt’s vertical presence should open things up.

While Hyatt would struggle to beat Jefferson or TJ Hockeson out for targets, his big play ability would provide spike weeks throughout the season and make him a value in best ball drafts.

This makes him an intriguing best ball target on Underdog fantasy, where you can get a 100% deposit match of up to $100 when you create a new account. Sign up and start drafting Hyatt below!

24. Jacksonville Jaguars: Calijah Kancey, DL, Pittsburgh

  • Previous Pick: Deonte Banks

An undersized defensive lineman from Pittsburgh who tested as a freak athlete. Stop me if you have heard this one before.

While Kancey will draw Aaron Donald comps due to his school and size, his athletic testing was off the charts. Running a 4.67 40-yard dash at 280 lbs puts him in the 99th percentile of all defensive linemen ever.

With 14.5 sacks in the last two seasons, he is an attacking one-gap defender who would give Jacksonville an interior pass rusher, something they desperately need.

25. New York Giants: Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU

  • Rookie Rank: WR2, Superflex: 7th overall
  • Previous Pick: Josh Downs
Quentin Johnson

December 31, 2022, 2022; Glendale, Ariz; USA; TCU wide receiver Quentin Johnson (1) runs a route against Michigan during the second half at State Farm Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Patrick Breen-Arizona Republic Ncaa Fiesta Bowl Game

When it comes to X receivers in the draft, Johnston undoubtedly stands out as the cream of the crop, with no other contender coming even remotely close. One of only three receivers standing 6 feet or taller on consensus top 100 draft boards, Johnston is the only X considered a potential first-round talent.

Height is something the Giants could use. This is a team full of diminutive slot receivers with Sterling Shepherd, Jamison Crowder, and Wan’Dale Robinson all on the roster. They desperately need an alpha presence on the outside and Johnston gives them the best one in the class.

This is one of the most ideal fantasy landing spots for Johnston who should be a top option in the Giants' offense from day one. The Giants currently sit at +1200 to land Johnston, the sixth most likely of all teams.

26. Dallas Cowboys: Dalton Kincaid, TE, Utah

  • Rookie Ranking: TE1, Superflex Ranking: 16th overall
  • Previous Pick: Dalton Kincaid

Dalton Kincaid is the first tight end off the board, cashing -190 tickets on BetMGM.

Speaking of BetMGM, you can get up to $1,000 paid back in bonus bets if your first bet does not win. Simply sign up below to claim your offer and start betting on the NFL draft (including Kincaid) today!

The Cowboys came into the offseason on a mission to acquire offensive playmakers. They added veteran Brandin Cooks and are set to make Tony Pollard their feature back. Dallas did lose Dalton Schultz, who has long been the security blanket for Dak Prescott. This has their odds of drafting a tight end with their first pick at +200 — the shortest of any position. They land the No. 1 tight end per our rookie model in the process.

While Kincaid is a dynamic route runner and comes in as an older prospect, fantasy expectations should be tempered in year one. As Ian Hartitz points out in his age analysis.

“Only three rookie TEs (2013 Jordan Reed, 2017 Evan Engram, 2021 Kyle Pitts) managed to put up top-12 production as rookies over the last decade, while only 10 second-year players have earned this distinction. “

27. Buffalo Bills: Drew Sanders, LB, Arkansas

  • Previous Pick: Drew Sanders

The Buffalo Bills suffered a significant blow to their defense this offseason with the departure of Tremaine Edmunds, a long-time anchor of their linebacker corps. Edmunds' departure comes on the heels of him signing a lucrative multi-year contract with the Chicago Bears.

Edmunds and fellow linebacker Matt Milano have been an indispensable duo for the Bills, demonstrating exceptional range in coverage and contributing significantly to the team's defensive prowess.

Drew Sanders is a big, rangy, athletic linebacker who can play on all three downs and replace Edmunds from day one.

Sanders is +100 to be the first linebacker off the board and the Bills' most likely position per odds is Linebacker at +200.

28. Cincinnati Bengals: Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame

  • Rookie Ranking: TE2, Superflex Ranking: 25th overall
  • Previous Pick: Michael Mayer
Michael Mayer

Notre Dame tight end Michael Mayer (87) celebrates a touchdown during the Notre Dame vs. California NCAA football game Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022 at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend. Notre Dame Vs California

The Bengals continue to add weapons for Joe Burrow, replacing Hayden Hurst with Notre Dame TE Michael Mayer.

Mayer is a former five-star recruit, a 2021 first-team AP All-American, and finished his career with over 2,000 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns in just three seasons.

While Mayer lacks ideal athleticism, he compares favorably to Zach Ertz, with his knack for getting open and providing major run-after-the-catch upside.

From a fantasy aspect, this is a low-end spot for Mayer. While he would be in a top-five NFL offense, he would be fourth at best on the totem pole with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins earning over 55% of the team’s targets.

Mayer would be a late-round dart throw on Joe Burrow teams only in year one. He’s ranked second in our rookie model.

29. New Orleans Saints: Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson

  • Previous Pick: Calijah Kancey

Murphy is a highly decorated, top-five overall recruit, who was a freshman All-American and finished his career with 17.5 sacks. He possesses an exceptional first step, an unwavering motor, and a bull rush that is desperately needed.

Last season, the Saints ranked 26th in PFF pass-rush grade as a unit.

30. Philadelphia Eagles: Felix Anudike-Uzomah, EDGE, Northwestern

  • Previous Pick: Lukas Van Ness

Adding an athletic edge rusher, the Eagles would be set at the defensive line position for years to come and be able to build off a front that became the first team to have four players with 10+ sacks.

Anudike-Uzomah plays with a sense of urgency and energy. His versatility paired with Hasson Reddick will be yet another chess piece for a strong Eagles defense.

31. Kansas City Chiefs: Dawand Jones, OT, Ohio State

  • Previous Pick: Dawand Jones

While many people would love for the Chiefs to add another receiver, there simply isn’t one worth considering here with the top six off the board. In a perfect world, Jalin Hyatt’s vertical ability would be an ideal fit.

Last offseason, the Chiefs offered LT Orlando Brown six-years, $139 million dollars. Brown is a mountain of a man at 6-foot-7 and 345 pounds, and the Chiefs replace a mountain with Everest himself.

At 6-foot-8 and 374 lbs, Dawand Jones is a massive human being. Kansas City did sign Jawaan Taylor this offseason, but RT Lucas Neing is a replacement-level player. Without a weapon for Mahomes, the Chiefs continue to build up his protection.

2023 NFL Mock Draft
