Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings For 2025: The Preliminary Top 150
If you haven't realized by now, fantasy football is a year-round endeavor, especially for dynasty fantasy football.
As we inch closer to the NFL Draft and dynasty rookie drafts, it's important to look at where we stand on the current player pool.
So, let's dive into my updated dynasty fantasy football rankings before the 2025 rookie class learns their landing spots.
Top 150 Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings
Before diving into my preliminary top-150 dynasty fantasy football rankings, some housekeeping to guide you through the rankings:
- Age: The biggest difference when evaluating dynasty rankings versus redraft rankings—you'll see each player's age (year-month) listed in the right-hand column.
- Pos Rk: Separate from the overall rank, the positional rank in the second column from the right isolates the player's ranking specific to their position.
- Positional Totals: In these dynasty rankings, I have ranked 26 quarterbacks, 56 wide receivers, 57 running backs, and 11 tight ends.
- Rookies: In this preliminary run of my dynasty top-150 for 2025, I've excluded rookies until we know where they'll be playing. Look for an updated set of rankings once the draft concludes and UDFAs are signed.

Breaking Down The Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings
It's hard not to get ridiculously excited about Brian Thomas, both this season and beyond. New Head Coach Liam Coen recently said their pass game would run through him. It's wheels-up for this budding star.
Uncertainty at the QB position is keeping me slightly tempered on guys like Malik Nabers and Garrett Wilson. We know they can produce, but whoever is throwing them the ball could elevate (or depress) their value by a full tier.
I think Ladd McConkey is actually a sell-high candidate in dynasty formats. If you can move a tier down to someone like Rome Odunze and also get future picks/assets, you should consider doing so.
If you can crack the WR code in Green Bay, let me know, but I'm still betting on Jayden Reed long-term.
It's not a hot take to put Jayden Daniels as the dynasty QB1 after just one season. His combination of draft capital, age, production, and dual-threat capability is enough for me to inch him above both Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. It'll be fascinating to watch this team build around him.
Aging running backs who will be at/near 30 years old by the start of next season include Joe Mixon, James Conner, and Alvin Kamara. Each offers unique upside at the right price for a dynasty manager looking to go all in (actually all in, not the Dallas Cowboys version).
Young, ascending talents like Keon Coleman, Ricky Pearsall, and Jalen McMillan will be among some of my most targeted players in dynasty trades this offseason and draft picks in new startups. Each offers an enticing combination of youth, talent, and situation that dynasty managers crave.
As for the TE position, the old guard is officially over—it's time to make room for Brock Bowers and Trey McBride.
