5 Spicy NFL Draft Rumors: Will Shedeur Sanders Be Happy Where He Falls?
In today's Fantasy Life Newsletter, presented by Bud Light:
I love a good Schefter bomb.
You know, those overnight reports during the NFL seasons that tip us off one way or another on whether a player is expected to play or not?
Well, yesterday morning, he posted a draft intel piece with all kinds of NFL Draft shrapnel from what he’s hearing around the league.
Here’s what stood out to me …
NFL Draft Rumors From Adam Schefter
The Steelers could be in the Shedeur Sanders business? Schefter more or less implies that Sanders wouldn’t slide past the Steelers at No. 21. He also mentions that Mike Tomlin would be uniquely equipped to squash any calls for Deion to take over.
The Jags are wild cards. Even though Mason Graham is a popular mock for Jacksonville, Schefter mentions they could give Tetairoa McMillan a long, hard look at No. 5. I’d love that fit alongside Brian Thomas.
A Brock Bowers mulligan? The Jets passed on tight end last year at No. 11, but Schefter thinks they could be in the mix to select Tyler Warren at No. 7. Unfortunately for them, Warren is not Bowers.
The Bears won’t let Jeanty slip past them. This makes sense, and I find it to be a more compelling landing spot than the uber-popular Raiders forecast.
We’ll have to wait for Friday for the WRs. As much as I’d love to see a few more WRs sneak into Round 1, it doesn’t sound like it’s happening. Schefter is forecasting a big run on WRs on Day 2.

NFL Draft Week Is Here
It’s Tuesday, and you’ve already probably heard it a hundred times, but we’ve officially reached draft week.
We’ve spent the last handful of months prepping for this moment, and the prep doesn’t stop now. Matthew Freedman was the first to the ticket window to cash in yet another mock draft update, where he’s got one of the most polarizing prospects of the 2025 class falling into the 20s.
Who is it? And what other players are shuffling around? 🤔👇
