In today's Fantasy Life Newsletter, presented by Guillotine Leagues:

As expected, the chaos of Week 18 has fully kicked in.

In addition to a ton of injuries to sift through, we are also starting to get actionable nuggets on which teams will be resting starters.

Here’s everything we know as of right now …

No record for Saquon Barkley. Man, I really thought they’d give him a crack at it, but the Eagles are electing to rest their starters—including Barkley. You can tell here that he wanted to go for it, but it’s not going to happen. Bummer.

Blake Corum’s time to shine. There will be many backups thrust into starting roles this week, but the one I’m most excited about is Blake Corum. Fortunately, it sounds like Sean McVay is equally excited. He’s a smash DFS play.

The Chiefs are resting everyone. Carson Wentz will get the start on Sunday. The Broncos can earn a spot in the playoffs if they beat the Chiefs (or both the Bengals and Dolphins lose), so Bo Nix and Courtland Sutton become intriguing options.

Week 18 Rankings: Mike Evans, Jahmyr Gibbs … and Chaos

by Sam Wallace

First off, if you're playing for a fantasy championship in Week 18 of the NFL season, you better have a conversation with your league commissioner this offseason. There have been talks about moving fantasy leagues up a week so they end in Week 16 (like the good ol' days!) on the heels of what has been a complete cluster of a Week 17.

Regardless, the Fantasy Life team has you covered with everything you need to dominate until the final whistle is blown on the 2024 NFL Season.

As always, if this isn't enough to sate your fantasy hunger, please check out our Weekly Rankings and the Start/Sit Tool throughout the week.

Week 18 Fantasy Football Rankings Updates

Mike Evans, WR—Buccaneers (Consensus WR4)

For a few weeks during the middle of the season, it looked like Mike Evans was in jeopardy of losing his streak of consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. However, he returned with a vengeance in Week 12 and has been on an absolute tear ever since.

In fact, he now sits just 85 yards shy of eclipsing 1,000 receiving yards for the 11th time in as many professional seasons. Evans is also closing in on some very tantalizing contract incentives this weekend. He needs just 5 receptions and the aforementioned 85 yards to cash in on an additional $3 million.

Confidently trot out Evans in all fantasy formats this weekend as he closes in on another historic milestone.

😆 Tee Higgins is funny. “I’m hip to y’all’s games.”

Welcome back! As always, here is the answer to yesterday’s question: Kyle Pitts was the last player to register 1,000 receiving yards with 1 TD in the 2021 season.

Now … onto today’s Fantasy Life Trivia question:

After Tee Higgins’ three-touchdown performance on Saturday, the Bengals have now had two different players catch three touchdowns in a single game this season. Who were the last pair of teammates to each have a game with three receiving touchdowns in the same season?

Brian Westbrook & Terrell Owens
Randy Moss & Rob Gronkowski
Reggie Wayne & Marvin Harrison
LaDainian Tomlinson & Antonio Gates
