Week 11 Fantasy Football Replacements For George Kittle
In today's Fantasy Life Newsletter, presented by Paramount+:
You know that phrase, “Win or go home”?
It’s generally reserved for playoff scenarios, but it directly applies to Doug Pederson’s outlook in Week 11.
Reports indicate that he’s out of a job if the Jags lose to the Lions today.
For reference, the Jags are 13.5-point road underdogs today and +625 to pull off the upset. That means Pederson has roughly a 14% chance of keeping his job.
Like you in your fantasy matchup, he’s going to need a little luck today.
Here’s everything else you need to know before setting your lineup …
Have a replacement for George Kittle. Kittle has played through a Q tag most weeks, but today is different as he is unlikely to play, per Adam Schefter. Jauan Jennings is a must-start everywhere. If you’re looking for a TE streamer, check our ranks. Two deep league options: Dawson Knox if you want to go TD hunting; Davis Allen if you want to bank a few receptions.
Players good to go today. Despite injury questions, all of these guys are ready to roll in Week 11: Davante Adams, Jaylen Warren (double check this one at 11:30 AM ET), Sam Darnold, Najee Harris, Tee Higgins, Tyreek Hill, Aaron Jones, Isaiah Likely, DK Metcalf, Michael Pittman, JuJu Smith-Schuster.
If you are playing DFS today, we have two pieces below with some sharp angles to consider for your tournament lineups. Good luck today …

Are The Pass-Happy Chiefs Officially Back?
- By Matt LaMarca
Stat: The Chiefs had a +12% Dropback Over Expectation in Week 10
It has not been a pretty year for the Chiefs’ offense. They’re merely 10th in yards per game this season, which would be the worst mark of the Patrick Mahomes era. They’re also 11th in points per game and EPA per play, so they’ve been closer to league average than elite.
Mahomes himself has had a disastrous statistical season. He’s on pace for career lows in virtually every category across the board despite the fact that the team is a perfect 9-0.
That said, the Chiefs underwent a bit of a stylistic change in Week 10. They had a +12% Dropback Rate Over Expectation (DBOE), which was easily their highest of the season. They had a -3% DBOE over their first seven contests, but that figure has improved to +5% over their past three.
With the Chiefs going a bit more pass-heavy, Mahomes and his pass-catchers are poised for much greater production down the stretch. Travis Kelce has already resumed his role as the unquestioned TE in fantasy, finishing as a top-four scorer at the position in three straight games. DeAndre Hopkins also looks like a locked-in starting wide receiver for your fantasy lineups, while Mahomes is back to being a legit QB1.
You ultimately invested premium draft capital in the Chiefs, and while you haven’t reaped the dividends yet, it’s time to collect.
