Two weeks ago, in her Monday overreaction piece, Kendall wrote about the confusing struggles of two formerly great QBs, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady.
Both were coming off brutal losses and neither seemed to be having much fun.
Well, yesterday Brady turned the clock back and orchestrated a vintage, game-winning drive with 44 seconds left and no timeouts. In doing so, he became the only player in NFL history to throw for 100k passing yards. Despite the heroics, Brady finished with less than 20 fantasy points for the fifth straight week in a row.
Things are even worse for Rodgers and the Packers, though. Green Bay dropped to 3-6 on the year after a gross 15-9 loss to the hapless Detroit Lions.
Rodgers, who is on record this year as saying guys who make too many mistakes shouldn't be playing, threw three bad interceptions in one of the easiest matchups in football.
As if it couldn't get any worse, the Packers now have a date with the Cowboys pass rush next week. Oh, and to add insult to injury, both Aaron Jones and Romeo DoubsĀ left the game in walking boots.
It's always weird when name-brand fantasy stars finally stop delivering top-tier performances, but Father Time is undefeated. If you haven't already moved on to better options, it's time to seriously consider it because this ain't going to cut it:

šŗ 1. Joe Mixon: not once, not twice, but FIVE TIMES
There had been a lot of talk about Mixon's inefficiency this season, but the positive regression hit in a massive way on Sunday vs. the Panthers. Mixon torched Carolina for 153 yards and 4 TDs on the ground and 4-58-1 through the air. The 55.1 fantasy points represent nearly 35% of his fantasy production on the entire season.
IfĀ you started Mixon today, congrats on your wealth. If you faced him? Well, there's always next week.
šŗ 2.Ā Justin Fields has arrived
Fields had been really heating up over the past few weeks, but he really exploded yesterday. He set the NFL record for most rushing yards by a QB in a single game with 178 yards on the ground, including this electric 61-yard TD run. The offensive explosion had Mike McDaniel begging for mercy. Fields has quickly become a must-start QB, and it should only get better once new acquisition Chase Claypool is fully integrated into the offense.
šŗ 3. Davante Adams bounces back
Adams flopped last week (1 catch for 3 yards on 5 targets), but made up for it in a big way yesterday with a monster 10-146-2 performance on 17 targets against the Jags. The only disappointment here is that he did almost all of his damage in the first half and stayed quiet in the second, but beggars can't be choosers.Ā
šŗ 4. Tyreek Hill smashes again
Stop me if you've heard this one before...Tyreek continued his WR1 and Fantasy MVP campaign against the Bears with a ho-hum 7-143-1 on 8 targets. He's now crested 1,000 receiving yards on the season, and we are only at the halfway point. He's averaging a gaudy 4.0 yards per route run this season, making him the only player over 3.3 since 2016.
šŗ 5. New players flash right away
Yesterday morning we tried to suss out which players on new teams would make an immediate impact and it appears the answers to that riddle were Jeff Wilson Jr. andĀ T.J. Hockenson. Wilson hit the ground running for the Dolphins (9-51; 3-21-1) and immediately carved out a timeshare with Mostert. Hockenson (9-70) was involved heavily for the Vikings, as well, and looks like he will make a big impact going forward.
šŗ 6. Kenneth Walker is your ROY
Breece Hall would have given him a run for his money, but Walker is running away with it now. He put 29-109-2 on the ground and chipped in 3-20 through the air in a big Seahawks road win vs. the Cardinals. Whether you're looking at the box score or watching the tape, Walker is passing every test with flying colors.

šĀ Justin Fields has always been the answer
Sure, the Bears took a 35-32 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. BUT, we saw a glimpse of their future and there is light at the end of a very dark tunnel. The answer is Justin Fields.
FIelds threw for 123 yards and three touchdowns ā but even better for fantasyland, he added 178 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Read that again. He surpassed Michael Vick and now holds the NFL record for the most rushing yards by a quarterback in a regular-season game.Ā
The talent from Fields has never been a question, but heās needed a coaching staff and front office to believe in him, which, funny enough, is only just happening.
It wasnāt going to happen with former coach Matt Nagy,Ā and up until this point, we didnāt know if it would happen with Matt Eberflus and offensive coordinatorĀ Luke Getsy. Under Nagy last season, Fields had only 18 designed rushes, tied with Mac Jones, per The Athletic. The system seems to be transitioning to one that better fits Fields. Yes, maybe the playoffs are out of the question this season, but the Bears are preparing (very well) for the future.Ā
They showed some faith in Fields by going out and acquiring another āweaponā (I know, I know) in Chase Claypool,Ā and they now have a bevy of draft picks for 2023. Plus, the team is projected to have around $121.7 million in cap space, per Spotrac. So hereās hoping the Bears make the correct selections on draft day and build around Fields because the fantasy world is better with him in it.
Itās time to take the paper bags off your heads, Bears fans.
š”Ā The Raiders are the most disappointing teamĀ
With all the heat the Broncos are taking for bad coaching and quarterback play there may be another team in the AFC West that deserves it more. What the hell are the Raiders doing?!Ā
Oh, I know ā BLOWING LEADS! Las Vegas lost a 17-point lead to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. This is their third 17+ point blown lead this season. To put it into perspective, from 1960-2021 the team had only done that five other times.
Did we expect a Super Bowl run? Absolutely not. I get it, injuries happen, and they do play a factor. But this is a team that made the playoffs last season with an interim head coach and less talent.
Darren Waller has been out since Week 5, and Hunter Renfrow has missed significant time. But this team has Davante Adams, and Josh Jacobs is having an incredible season so far. Overall, they have the talent and should be doing better.
Going into Week 9, Derek Carr was just 17th in passing yards per game, 18th in yards per attempt, and 17th in touchdown-to-interception ratio. He had also only been completing 62.9 percent of his passes (25th), per The Athletic.
Raiders fans are calling for change, and really we canāt blame them. If Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackettās seat has been hot this season, then Raiders head coach Josh McDanielsā seat must be scorching. Overall, McDaniels was hired to keep the momentum up and build on a 10-win team. He has lost 23 of his last 30 games as an NFL head coach. To me, the problem is just as much at the quarterback position as the coaching. So maybe what happens in Vegas shouldnāt really stay in Vegas.
The Ravens head into this MNF tilt vs. the Saints as 2 point road favorites, but injuries have ravaged their offense.
They'll be without WR Rashod Bateman (IR), TEĀ Mark Andrews (knee/shoulder), and RBĀ Gus Edwards (hamstring). The Saints will also be without Michael Thomas (IR), although Jarvis Landry and Adam Trautman should be available.
Still, this game has some shootout promise with a healthy 47 point over/under.

Week 9 was a prime example of why getting the best number is so important in NFL betting. The Commanders, Buccaneers, and Falcons were three popular sharp picks this week, and they all covered their opening numbers. The Falcons and Commanders were both available at +3.5, while the Buccaneers were listed at -2.5. However, the Commanders and Buccaneers both ended up closing at 3.0, while the Falcons actually moved to +2.5. Ultimately, when you bet these teams determined whether you walked away with a win, push, or loss.
Letās dive into a few numbers to consider grabbing early in Week 10.
šøĀ Vikings(+7.5) @ BillsĀ
- Pick: Vikings +7.5
Iāve been preaching for weeks about how the Vikings are overrated, and they had another unimpressive victory in Week 9. They were trailing by 10 points in the fourth quarter, but a careless Taylor Heinicke turnover allowed the Vikings to get back into the game. Theyāve now won six consecutive one-score games, which is one shy of theĀ NFL record.
So why do I like the Vikings to start the week? It all has to do with the potential injury to Josh Allen. He was hit while throwing late against the Jets, and there are some murmurs that he may have injured his UCL. Thereās nothing concrete about the injury, but the speculation is enough to make the Vikings look like an early-week value.
#Bills QB Josh Allen, who has a history of UCL sprain in 2018, appeared to suffer another UCL sprain on this play very late in the game. Threw a nice deep ball right after, but was shaking out the elbow/may have been dealing w some nerve stretch symptoms. Injury to watch this wk.

The best-case scenario is you grab the Vikings at +7.5, Allen gets ruled out, and you get a ton of closing line value. If Allen is ultimately ruled in, you can always hedge out of the bet later.
In other words, thereās very little downside to grabbing the Vikings now, but thereās plenty of upside.
šøĀ Chargers at 49ers (-6.5)
- Pick: 49ers -6.5
The Chargers had legit hopes of making a deep postseason run this season. They entered the year with an MVP candidate at quarterback and superstars up and down their roster, and you could make the case they were one of the most talented teams in the league.
Unfortunately, the current version of the Chargers is not nearly the same squad. Their injury report for Week 9 read like an All-Pro list, with Joey Bosa, Rashawn Slater, Keenan Allen, and Mike Williams all sidelined. Bosa, Slater, and Williams will also miss this weekās matchup vs. the 49ers, while Allen has struggled to get on the field all season.

They were barely able to escape against the Falcons, but now they have to take on one of the best teams in football. Not only that, but the 49ers are coming off a bye week and will have the benefit of homefield advantage.
The 49ers have had some hiccups this season, but theyāve found their grove in recent weeks. They do have two losses in their last three games, but one was against the Chiefs and the other was with a depleted roster. Now that theyāre healthy again, they appear ready to make a run.
I think this line eventually gets to seven, so locking them in now is a good idea. A half point may not seem like much, but as we saw in Week 9, it can make a world of difference.
