What an epic Sunday of football. In the span of 7 hours, we experienced:
š„ Game of the Year
The Vikings shocked the Bills with a 33-30 overtime win after a string of bizarre turnovers from Josh Allen, including a fumble in the endzone with 0:41 seconds left in the game. More on the game from Kendall below.
šŖ Jeff Saturday, 1-0
Jeff Saturday moves to 1-0 as the Colts head coach despite having zero NFL coaching experience and no one on the staff who has called plays before. I don't think winning is what Jim Irsay had in mind when he hired him, though.

š° Matt LaMarca is betting: Commanders +11
The Eagles are undoubtedly the better football team in this matchup, but do they deserve to be laying 11 points? Iām unconvinced. Their resume is pretty lackluster, with just two of their eight wins coming against teams with winning records. One of those was against the Cowboys, who started backup quarterback Cooper Rush in that contest, and the other was at home against the Vikings. Ultimately, Iām not ready to declare this team a juggernaut.
The Commanders have been feisty of late, winning three of their past four games, and the lone exception was a three-point loss vs. the Vikings. They actually led that game by 10 points in the fourth quarter, so they could very easily be riding a four-game winning streak. Big divisional underdogs have also been extremely profitable since 2005. Teams getting at least 10 points in divisional matchups have posted a record of 143-118-9. Iāll take my chances with the points.
Not in one of these three states?

Every Monday, Pete will share his six big takeaways from the week's action compliments of our friends over at Bud Light. Let's crack open that six pack, Pete...
šŗ 1. Justin Fields, your new QB kingpin
What's left to say about Justin Fields? One week after setting the record for most rushing yards in a single game by a QB, he followed it up with an encore that included another 147 yards rushing and 2 TDs. The Bears might be winless over their past three games, but Fields is a fantasy superstar. I don't think there is a player who is more fun to watch right now.
Justin Fields is a sensation. He's the fastest player on the field. He's enormous and physical. He's throwing better than he has all season. This is so so so so so cool to see man.

šŗ 2.Ā Justin Jefferson, Dalvin Cook explode
Lost in the shuffle of the wild Minnesota-Buffalo game, both Vikings' stars popped off for big fantasy days. Cook (14-119-1; 3-27) had an efficient day both on the ground and through the air, while Jefferson (10-193-1) went absolutely nuts. He had theĀ catch of the yearĀ and is entering rarefied territory as a WR.
The wrong Jefferson is on Mount Rushmore.

šŗ 3. Jonathan Taylor, welcome back
There had been plenty of "bust of the year" labels applied to Taylor over the past few weeks, but he reminded fantasy managers why he was a Top 2 pick all offseason on Sunday. Taylor led all RBs on the day, rushing for 147 yards on 22 carries and chipping in 2-16 in the air. Not only did he dominate the backfield touches, but he also flashed the coveted "run to daylight" ability we love from our RBs.
šŗ 4. Christian Watson's coming out party
We sure hope you listened when Dwain recommended picking Watson up on Saturday. Watson showcased his big play ability, turning four catches into a highly efficient 107 yards and 3 TDs. Remind you of anyone?!Ā
As Christian Watson is showing you today, all young players progress at different rates for a variety of reasons.
Don't let the lack of instant success in the NFL let you believe what you saw on a prospect's college film was a lie.

šŗ 5. The Chiefs gonna Chief
It's easy to take Patrick Mahomes (331 yards and 4 TDs) for granted. They seemingly do it every weekend. Even with Smith-Schuster leaving early with a concussion, Mahomes dealt TDs to Travis Kelce, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Kadarius Toney, and Noah Gray. Oh, and Mahomes now has the most TD passes through 75 (72!) games of any QB ever.Ā
šŗ 6. CeeDee Lamb, WR1?
For the most part, Lamb hasn't cemented himself in the elite tier of fantasy WRs. But yesterday he dropped 11-150-2 and 38 PPR points in a dominating performance against the Packers. The 150 receiving yards represent a career high and it's hard not to be excited about his chances to finish the season strong.
CeeDee Lamb earned a career-high 150 receiving yards with a reception on 7 different route types.
Lamb has gained at least 70 receiving yards on six different routes this season, trailing only Tyreek Hill and Justin Jefferson (7).

šāāļøĀ Matt Ryan did what??Ā Lmao, didn't think this was even possible for him.
š”Ā Mike McCarthy was PISSED. He's been watching Tom Brady tablet-breaking film.
š”Ā So was Aaron Rodgers. Lots of yelling yesterday.
šĀ A terrible, no good, very bad day for the Biils. Started at the top, and now we're here.
š¤ŖĀ Maybe Leonard Fournette should stick to RB? Just a thought, but at least he's having fun with it.
šĀ The Bills RB usage is bizarre. Dwain explains.

We're humans who play fantasy football, which means we are prone to overreact. In this weekly series,Ā KendallĀ will lead us in overreacting to Sunday's action...
šĀ Congrats, you watched the game of the year
I think the only appropriate reaction to the Vikings vs. Bills game is WOW.Ā
For all the back and forth we got seeing if Josh Allen was going to play, both teams delivered a gem. We thought the game was over when the Bills stopped Kirk Cousins inches short of the endzone on fourth down with 44 seconds left. But recently, Allen has been looking more human and beatable. Heās been making mistakes we havenāt seen from the superstar before. In his last three games, Allen has seven giveaways and six interceptions
A fumbled exchange recovered in the end zone put the Vikings up 30-27. We all thought the same thing, though, right?Ā
Giving Allen 41 seconds to win a game is too much time.Ā
Buffalo went 69 yards in five plays (in only 39 seconds) and sent it to overtime. The Vikings managed a field goal in overtime, then sealed their win on Patrick PetersonāsĀ second interception of Allen in the end zone.Ā
Seven of the Vikingsā eight wins this season have been decided by one possession. Can they keep getting away with it?Ā
Are they as āfraudulentā as everyone has been saying?Ā
Letās be honest, they havenāt put up convincing wins. But damn, Justin JeffersonĀ is so good. And Dalvin Cookās 81-yard touchdown run on Sunday was a career-long. So yes, itās tough to believe the Vikings can continue on this path of winning close, one-score games. But they have a talented roster that obviously steps up when it matters most. Until a team shuts down Minnesota, they WILL continue to do this, and thereās no reason to believe they canāt. Right?
š”Ā Thereās always next year, Broncos Country
This is the first and last time Iāll mention the Denver Broncos here because they are just so frustrating. We posted a question on Fantasy Lifeās Twitter account, asking followers who their most disappointing player was on their rosters. Looking at mine, it has to be any Broncos players.
Courtland Sutton had an average draft position of 32 before the season started ā ranking as WR16 on Underdog. Jerry Jeudy was being drafted around pick 44 and was ranked as WR22.Ā
The Broncos lost to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday and fell to 3-6 on the year. It was Denver's fifth one-score loss this season. I get it, you can point to the injuries and blame a lot of this on not having a stable core. From offensive linemen to key wide receivers and the (hopeful) future at running back in Javonte Williams, itās been tough.Ā
Russell Wilson is also on track to record career worsts in points per game, completion percentage, touchdown-interception ratio, and passer rating.
I think itās more than just disappointing. Wilson was supposed to be the answer to Denverās never-ending quarterback carousel. Head coach Nathaniel Hackett was supposed to lead them toward the light at the end of the tunnel. I think it can still happen. I HOPE it can still happen. Maybe not this season, but there is too much talent on this roster being wasted.Ā
Pour one out for Broncos Country ā we are here for you.
It's time for another Eagles primetime game vs. an inferior the opponent.Ā
Tonight, Philadelphia hosts the Commanders as 11 point home favorites and a juicy 27 point implied team total.Ā
Taylor Heinicke will once again get the nod, err, thrown to the wolves at QB for Washington. It's one of those nights where you can start just about every piece on the Eagles, down to the kicker and defense.

šø JetsĀ (+3.5) @ PatriotsĀ
- Pick: Jets +3.5
I get it. Itās easy to be skeptical of the Jets. Theyāve been a joke of a franchise for the better part of the past two decades, and they werenāt expected to be very good this season.
That said, itās important to check your biases in NFL betting. Even though the Jets were not expected to be good this season, they have a pretty darn good resume. They were able to beat the Bills in Week 9 ā one of the most impressive wins of the year ā and they entered Week 10 ranked 10th in Football Outsiders DVOA.
The Jets are coming off a bye in Week 10, which should benefit them vs. the Patriots. Good teams have historically fared well following their bye week. Teams with a record of greater than .500 have posted a record of 163-135-8 against the spread since 2005.
The Jets also match up well with what the Patriots like to do on offense. They rank eighth in the league in rush defense DVOA, and the Patriots own the ninth highest run rate in the league. If you can slow down Rhamondre Stevenson and Damien Harris, you have a good chance of slowing down the Patriots offense.
The sharps have shown some interest in the Jets to start the week, pushing the line down to +3.5. It would not shock me if this line gets to +3.0 by kickoff, and the difference between +3.5 and +3.0 is massive. More NFL games end on three than any other number, so that can be the difference between a push and a cover.
šøĀ Packers (-2) vs. Titans
- Pick: Packers -2
Are the Packers officially back? Itās possible. They pulled off a massive win vs. the Cowboys in Week 10, bringing them to 4-6 for the year. That keeps their playoff hopes alive, although theyāre fighting for a Wild Card spot.
The Packersā running game has been a strength all season, and they racked up more than 200 yards vs. the Cowboys. More importantly, the Packersā passing game showed some signs of life. Aaron Rodgers put together his best performance of the year, completing 14 of 20 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns. All three scores went to Christian Watson, who was the Packers' second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Heās arguably the most physically-gifted receiver on their roster ā he blazed a 4.36 40-yard dash at 6ā4ā and 208 lbs ā and his emergence could be a game-changer for the Packers.
The Titans were able to pick up their sixth win in seven games, but they werenāt particularly impressive in their win over the Broncos. None of their recent wins has been eye-opening, with all six wins coming against teams with losing records. This current line suggests that these two teams are virtually equal on a neutral field, but nothing that the Titans have done compares to the Packersā win over the Cowboys. I expect this line to move towards Packers -3.0, and if theyāre truly back, they should be able to cover this spread.
