Did you see how Taylor Swift looked at Noah Gray after that TD??

Fantasy football doesnāt have to be hard.
Sometimes the most logical thing happensā¦like the best RB in football producing like the best running back in football:
And I say this as someone who regularly selected JaāMarr Chase ahead of Christian McCaffrey this offseason and would often lament āhaving to takeā CMC at 5th overall as a āconsolation prizeā after other drafters selected Tyreek Hill and Cooper Kupp.
Iām not even quite sure what we were worried about. Elijah Mitchell? Regression?
Regardless, it sure is looking silly right now on this Monday morning after watching CMC scorch the fantasy earth and the Cardinalsā helpless defense to the tune of 177 scrimmage yards and 4 total TDs.
You know itās a big day when LeBron is taking notice:
The epic Week 4 performance now places CMC as not only the highest-scoring RB in fantasy (duh), but also the highest-scoring playerā¦period. Yes, he has more points than even Justin Herbert and Josh Allen.
If you bought the dip on CMC this year, good luck in the playoffs!
š½ The Man Who Replaced Eli vs. The Man Who Replaced Eli?!?
Is this the multiverse?!?!
No, it's just tonight's matchup featuring the 3rd highest point total on the slate, and just in time for the game, BetMGM is offering a First Bet Offer for all first-time deposits!
Well, they got a rude awakening in Buffalo yesterday, where the Bills gave them a dose of their own medicine. Josh Allen threw for 320 yards and 4 TDs (and rushed one in too) and Stefon Diggs caught 3 of them for 120 yards receiving, including this nifty after-the-catch special:
š³ Puka & Achane arenāt a flash in the pan
There wasnāt a ton of enthusiasm for Puka Nacua heading into this game after he āonlyā put up 5-72 in Week 3 vs. the Bengals.
And no one wanted to believe that DeāVon Achane could possibly come close to replicating what he did vs. the Bills.
Well, the two rookies proved they arenāt one-hit wonders with another set of monster performances.
We spilled a lot of ink the past few days calling it a make-or-break week for Fields. We said it couldnāt set up any more perfectly for him to bounce back against a historically bad defense.
And you know what? Fields did his part (for fantasy, at least).
TE Cole Kmet was the biggest beneficiary of the Fields explosion, notching 85 yards and 2 TDs.
ā Mark Andrews, welcome to 2023
It had been a quiet start to the year for the No. 2 TE off the board in most drafts, but Mark Andrews reminded us why we spent early-round selections on him yesterday:
Andrews finished the day with 80 yards and 2 TDs and sits as the TE2 on the week behind only Kmet.
In fact, his big play ability begged some questions around the league:
š Anthony Richardson has IT
It wasnāt always pretty, but Anthony Richardson reminded us yesterday why rushing is the ultimate cheat code for QB fantasy production.
He only completed 11 of his 25 passes for 200 yards and 2 TDs, but his 56 yards on the ground and 1 rushing TD supercharged his fantasy day:
The fact that Richardson is already producing top-5 QB finishes while still this raw as a passer points to an insane ceiling as he gets more and more comfortable in the pocket.
We're humans who play fantasy football, which means we are prone to overreact. Today, Kendall overreacts to a stumbling Broncos team and 2 rookie QBsā¦
Death. Taxes. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs carrying your fantasy team.
We knew this Dolphins-Bills game was going to have some fireworks, but we didnāt necessarily bet on it being the Allen and Diggs show!
The undefeated Dolphins tried to keep up, with DeāVon Achane seriously doing his best to recreate his Week 3 success finishing the day with 27 fantasy points.
Make no mistake, this Miami team is still explosive, but the Bills got the better part of the Dolphins while also handing them their first loss of the season.
Between the three undefeated teams heading into Week 4 only two survived, the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers. Now, we also had the absolute treat (please sense my sarcasm) of watching four winless teams face off against each other. I wanted to highlight a few highs and a lot of lowsā¦
šØāš³ Is the kitchen closed in Denver?
Alright, I was intending to write up that the Denver Broncos with Russell Wilson will not be cooking any longer. The health inspector came and shut everything down. BUT, I should have reminded myself that they were facing the Chicago Bears and ANYTHING can happen against that team.
The Broncos were down 28-7 in the third quarter and came back to secure their first win on the season. Wilson finished with 20.4 fantasy points ā Courtland Sutton found the endzone once and locked in 11.7 fantasy points, and rookie Jaleel McLaughlin! had 104 total yards and one touchdown.
This is, unfortunately, probably as good as it will get for Broncos fantasy managers this season. This was more of an embarrassing loss for the Bears than a glimmer of hope for the Broncos.
Both defenses allowed solid fantasy performances to opposing quarterbacks, but they wonāt get to face that every week. Justin Fields finished 28/35 with 334 yards and four touchdowns, good enough for 27.9 fantasy points.
The Broncos face the Jets, Chiefs and Packers in the next three weeks. The Bears get the Commanders, Vikings, and Raiders.
Are we totally comfortable starting anyone on these teams? Maybe only Fields because we live for drama and chaosā¦
š„µ Quarterback Heat Check
Come on, I had to follow the cooking theme here and this was the best way to do it! The early slate for Week 4 was absolutely phenomenal and some quarterbacks deserve to be highlighted for the fantasy performances!
Dare I say, they could be top quarterbacks the rest of the seasonā¦
š¶ Anthony Richardson
Did the Colts lose in overtime to the Rams? Yup, sure did! But this is fantasy football we are talking about, and Anthony Richardson had a monster day in some lineups notching 29.6 fantasy points.
Oh yeah, and heās making some history along the way. On Sunday he became the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era with a rushing touchdown in each of his first three career games.
Hereās hoping more big fantasy games are in his future! I think he should be able to finish as a top 8 quarterback if heās able to stay healthy for the rest of the season.
š¶ C.J. Stroud
Oh, whatās that? Ah, nothing, itās just C.J. Stroudās third consecutive 20+ fantasy point outing. He had 16 completions, 306 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions on Sunday in a win against the Steelers.
Congratulations, Texans. You have found your answer ā Stroud is it.
And the connection he has with Nico Collins and Tank Dell? Honestly, this deserves another shoutout for all their managers too, because you have to be happy.
Just a reminder that Stroud is still a rookie, so we are going to be riding the ups and downs of a young quarterback learning in his first season. But enjoy the highs, because it feels like thereās more coming.
