Each week, Cooterdoodle will be breaking down all the pain and punishment that transpires in our very own BWW Punishment Eliminator League.

18 entered, but 17 will leave with their tails between their legs as they are forced to face a season-ending punishment.

BWW Punishment Eliminator League

No, we haven’t run out of punishments or leaguemates just yet! Welcome back to the Fantasy Life BWW Punishment Eliminator League. It’s time for us to move on to Week 14.

The punishment gods have spoken once again! Today we’ll have a full recap of:

  • It's Safe Now
  • Week 13 Results
  • Week 13’s Proof of Punishment (PP)
  • On to Week 14: Back to School

If you’re new here, be sure to read a full breakdown of our 18-team best ball elimination league and last week’s recap.

But the rules are fairly simple: SURVIVE or face the consequences (read: the Punishment Generator).

It's Safe Now

If I’ve learned anything at all from this experience, it’s that losing can sometimes be a good thing. I dreaded my elimination for so long, but now that it's come and gone, I don’t have to sweat it out each week and imagine the horrors of what the next punishment might be.

While I do enjoy competition, trash talk, and kicking *ss, I’ll sit back and watch the last few losers’ punishments from the comfort of my own home. Because for me and the others who’ve already been eliminated, it’s safe now.

But enough about safety and comfort. Let’s get to the misery and dive into everything that happened in Week 13.

Week 13 Results

The results from Week 13 are in! Although many have been eliminated, some of the top dogs are still alive.

While we’ve had plenty of different weekly high-scorers throughout the season, there have been a few repeat names who've stood out among the pack. Of those, three are still holding strong. If I had to put my money down on one of the remaining five teams still battling it out, I’d have to go with Sam Holt, Eliot Crist, or Dwain McFarland.

I’m not playing favorites; I’m just looking at data. Those three seem to have consistently hovered around the top scores week after week. So I guess if there’s any silver lining here, it’s that some of the best teams are still alive after 13 weeks.

Here’s how the league did this week with some added context of risers and fallers:
Week 13 Results

We started with 18 teams and are now down to just five teams remaining!

And with only four more eliminations to go, it’s crunch time. There’s no wiggle room for injuries, bad matchups, or duds. It’s anyone’s game! Because it’s anyone’s league to win, it’s also anyone’s league to lose. Only one of the remaining five will be able to avoid the pain, ridicule, and embarrassment that comes with each elimination.

So who will it be? Mr. Roto himself? Or one of the other wonderful members of our Fantasy Life team? Regardless of who you decide to root for from here on out, the generator cannot be escaped, and it’s anyone’s game at this point.

With five teams moving safely on to Week 14, we need to acknowledge the unlucky leaguemate who wasn’t so safe in Week 13. And it’s time for them to pay…

Proof of Punishment (PP)

It’s finally time for what you’ve all been waiting for. The big PP reveal.

The Punishment Generator results were rolled out prior to Week 13 and revealed that the loser would have to endure our first holiday themed punishment.

That’s right.

The loser had to find Santa Claus, wait in line like a little kid, sit on his lap, and ask for some fantasy football advice. Ho-Ho-How embarrassing!

So without further adieu, here’s Matt's Week 13 punishment!

We’re sorry to see Matt go, but the league marches on!

Nitty Gritty Breakdown:

  • Teams remaining: 5
  • Teams eliminated: Marcas, Freedman, Jonathan, Ian, Waz, Kendall, Chris, Jake, Cooter, Jordan, Sam, Pete, and Matt
  • Punishment on Deck: Back to School

With Matt's elimination, we’re on to a new beginning. And unfortunately, we're faced with another few days of sweating it out while we await the fresh agony of the upcoming Week 14 results.

On to Week 14

As for the survivors: another one down with four eliminations to go.

How punishments are decided:

  • Generate a random punishment with our Punishment Generator
  • Announce the punishment to the league prior to kickoff
  • Boot the loser from the league once the games have concluded
  • Collect Proof of Punishment (PP)
  • Expose everything on FantasyLife.com

We won’t know who has to pay the price until all the Week 14 games conclude on Monday night, but we do know that someone is going to have to stretch and put on their running shoes because the Punishment Generator has spoken.

Drumroll, please…

Back to School

That’s right, the team with the lowest score from Week 14 will have to dig deep and recall all the knowledge they gained in high school. Math. Grammar. Geometry? I’m not sure…it’s been a while.

Luckily for me, I’ve already been eliminated, so there's zero chance that I'm going to take any more standardized tests. But someone will have to, and we’ll all get to watch. And for that, I'm thankful!

Stay tuned for an update next week after the losing team submits their Proof of Punishment (PP), and we kick them from the league.

If this sounds like a fun league format to you sickos, you don't have to feel left out. You can make your own punishment eliminator league!
