Each week, Cooterdoodle will be breaking down all the pain and punishment that transpires in our very own BWW Punishment Eliminator League.

18 entered, but 17 will leave with their tails between their legs as they are forced to face a season-ending punishment.

BWW Punishment Eliminator League

Somehow we’re already into the latter half of December. It seems like just yesterday we were sweating over our draft position and calculating which players might fall to us in Round 2.

While we’ve put 14 weeks behind us, we haven’t run out of punishments or leaguemates…yet! Welcome back to the Fantasy Life BWW Punishment Eliminator League. It’s time for us to move on to Week 15.

The punishment gods have spoken once again! Today we’ll have a full recap of:

  • Watching From the Sidelines?
  • Week 14 Results
  • Week 14’s Proof of Punishment (PP)
  • On to Week 15: Time to Teach Trig

If you’re new here, be sure to read a full breakdown of our 18-team best ball elimination league and last week’s recap.

But the rules are fairly simple: SURVIVE or face the consequences (read: the Punishment Generator).

Watching From the Sidelines?

I need all of you to be honest with me. You’ve been enjoying this, haven’t you? Watching our team humiliate themselves week after week, punishment after punishment.

It felt safe over there, huh?

But I have a feeling that some of you are in leagues with loser punishments, and it may not feel like such a distant experience. Is there a last place punishment on your horizon?

We’re here for you. We (at least 14 of us) have been there. We’ve been punished. Just remember that there’s camaraderie to be gained from your pain. Your league will appreciate everything you’re about to do. Good punishments are the glue that holds healthy leagues together.

Put on your helmets, boys and girls. It’s your turn. You’re up.

But we do ask that you publicly share your punishment results. After all, we are. With that in mind, let’s get into the nitty gritty results of Week 14 and see who was eliminated this past week.

Week 14 Results

The results from Week 14 are in! Although many have been eliminated, some of the top dogs are still alive.

I just verbalized my support for Fantasy Life’s CEO Eliot Crist last week, as he’s finished as the weekly top scorer plenty of times this season. Did I jinx him? I don’t know. I’m sorry, Eliot…

It didn’t matter that he had the top score once again in Week 13. Week 14 came, and now Eliot's gone.

Here’s how the league did this week with some added context of risers and fallers:
Week 14 Results

We started with 18 teams and are now down to only four teams remaining!

With only three more eliminations to go, it’s crunch time. There’s no wiggle room for injuries, bad matchups, and duds. It’s anyone’s game! And because it’s anyone’s league to win, it’s also anyone’s league to lose. Only one of these remaining teams will be able to avoid the pain, ridicule, and embarrassment that comes with elimination.

So who will it be? Mr. Roto himself? Or one of the other wonderful members of our Fantasy Life team? Regardless of who you decide to root for from here on out, the generator cannot be escaped, and it’s anyone’s game at this point.

With four fantasy managers moving safely into Week 15, it’s time for us to somberly turn our attention towards the unlucky leaguemate who didn’t make it out of Week 14. And it’s time for them to pay…

Proof of Punishment (PP)

It’s finally time for what you’ve all been waiting for. The big PP reveal.

The Punishment Generator results were rolled out prior to Week 14 and revealed that the loser would have to study up (or not) and take a standardized test.

That’s right. The loser has to take an online exam, film the experience, and share his or her success (or failure) with all of us!

So without further adieu, here’s Eliot's Week 14 punishment!

We’re sorry to see Eliot go, but the league marches on!

Nitty Gritty Breakdown:

  • Teams remaining: 4
  • Teams eliminated: Marcas, Freedman, Jonathan, Ian, Waz, Kendall, Chris, Jake, Cooter, Jordan, Sam, Pete, Matt, and Eliot
  • Punishment on Deck: Time to Teach Trig

With Eliot's elimination, we’re on to a new beginning. And unfortunately, we're faced with another few days of sweating it out while we await the fresh agony of the upcoming Week 15 results.

On to Week 15

As for the survivors: another one down with just three eliminations to go.

How punishments are decided:

  • Generate a random punishment with our Punishment Generator
  • Announce the punishment to the league prior to kickoff
  • Boot the loser from the league once the games have concluded
  • Collect Proof of Punishment (PP)
  • Expose everything on FantasyLife.com

We won’t know who has to pay the price until all the Week 15 games conclude on Monday night, but we do know that someone is going to have to stretch and put on their running shoes because the Punishment Generator has spoken.

Drumroll, please…

Time to Teach Trig

That’s right, the team with the lowest score from Week 15 will have to put their teaching hat on. They’ll have to teach some of us here at Fantasy Life a little trigonometry. That shouldn’t be too embarrassing, right? I’m sure none of us will ask any tough questions…

Stay tuned for an update next week after the losing team submits their Proof of Punishment (PP), and we kick them from the league.

If this sounds like a fun league format to you sickos, you don't have to feel left out. You can make your own punishment eliminator league!
