Tier 1 – Justin Herbert
Since getting Keenan Allen back in Week 11, Herbert has averaged 21.8 fantasy points per game. Last weekend, Mike Williams returned and suddenly the Chargers have one of the better receiving corps in football, with Austin Ekeler, Joshua Palmer, and Gerald Everett rounding out the attack.
No other team allows more fantasy points via the passing game than the Titans, who allow 296 yards and 1.9 TDs per contest in non-overtime play. In one of only four games with a 47-point total or higher, the Chargers' passing offense is in a great spot this weekend.
Herbert is a SMASH play as the QB4 overall.

Tier 1 – Derrick Henry
Henry faces the third-worst graded PFF run defense (34.6) and could see career-high usage on passing downs with Dontrell Hilliard out. The veteran RB neared a 50% route participation (48%) and played 67% of the two-minute offense snaps last week, with Hilliard going down.
The Chargers allow 146 yards per game on the ground in non-overtime play – the fifth-most in the NFL. The Titans won’t have Treylon Burks again this weekend, so finding ways to create touches in the passing game for the best team’s best playmaker could be in the cards.
Henry could easily finish as the RB1 overall on the Week 15 slate. He is my RB2.
Tier 2 – Miles Sanders
Sanders has two 140-plus-yard rushing totals in the last three games. He continues to share the backfield (49% of rushing attempts), but the Eagles run the sixth-most total plays and rank No. 1 in rushing plays in non-overtime.
Philadelphia scores a TD on 35% of their drives – the most in the NFL – and Sanders operates behind the No. 2 PFF run-blocking unit. This is one of the healthiest ground-game environments in the league, which makes Sanders’ 17.5 opportunities per game (attempts plus targets) more valuable than other backs who get larger workloads.
Historically, Sanders has displayed explosive playmaking ability, which has carried over into 2022. He ranks fifth in 10-plus-yard rushing attempts (15%) out of 50 RBs with at least 70 carries. The fourth-year RB is PFF’s No. 5 graded rusher (86.8).
In Week 15, the Eagles face a Bears team that invites opponents to run the ball the third-most per game (30.8) in non-overtime. Not only do teams often run against Chicago, but they also run wild thanks to the worst-graded PFF run defense. Teams average 146 yards and 1.6 TDs.
The Eagles are nine-point favorites in a game where they could eclipse 30 points on the scoreboard.
Sanders is a SMASH play and is my RB8 this weekend.
Tier 2 – Alvin Kamara
Kamara averages only 14.2 opportunities per game since Week 9. The veteran RB typically plays almost 70% of the snaps, but his utilization in the passing game isn’t there. His 20% TPRR is well below his 29% career average.
Week | Snaps | Rush Att | Routes | Targets | TPRR | SDD Snaps | i5 Att | LDD Snaps | 2MIN Snaps | PPR |
1 | 62% | 47% | 40% | 13% | 24% | 50% | 0% | 58% | 43% | 7.6 |
3 | 70% | 65% | 61% | 14% | 18% | 67% | 0% | 29% | 92% | 9.3 |
5 | 73% | 48% | 69% | 25% | 30% | 63% | 0% | 70% | 100% | 25.9 |
6 | 69% | 56% | 66% | 32% | 36% | 50% | 0% | 67% | 100% | 18.3 |
7 | 72% | 58% | 55% | 19% | 28% | 67% | 100% | 67% | 77% | 17.5 |
8 | 72% | 56% | 69% | 32% | 41% | 80% | 100% | 55% | 91% | 42.8 |
9 | 88% | 60% | 75% | 15% | 15% | 100% | 0% | 100% | 100% | 9.2 |
10 | 79% | 57% | 76% | 14% | 16% | 100% | 0% | 64% | 100% | 7.5 |
11 | 70% | 48% | 69% | 19% | 23% | 80% | 0% | 75% | 0% | 12.9 |
12 | 67% | 39% | 62% | 24% | 33% | 83% | 0% | 64% | 100% | 11.0 |
13 | 59% | 50% | 50% | 7% | 12% | 80% | 0% | 36% | 100% | 5.7 |
YTD | 60% | 45% | 52% | 16% | 26% | 65% | 25% | 51% | 75% | 15.2 |
In Week 13, we saw Mark Ingram II uncharacteristically account for 19% of the Saints' targets, while Kamara saw 7%. However, Ingram is out for the season due to a knee injury. The majority of passing-down work should belong to Kamara.
It isn’t just the receiving numbers that are down for the sixth-year RB. He ranks 38th in missed tackles forced per attempt (0.15), 46th in average yards after contact (2.48), 30th in 10-plus yard attempts (9%), and 41st in PFF rush grade (69.0).
If there is a chance for the veteran RB to get things turned around, Atlanta’s defense is a good place to start.
Kamara’s TPRR jumps from 16% against man coverage to 30% versus zone, and the Falcons play the eighth-most zone coverage in the NFL. They also allow the seventh-most yards on the ground per game in non-overtime play.
Kamara is a high-end RB2 in Week 15.
Tier 3 – Isiah Pacheco
Pacheco has quietly finished as the RB16, RB15, and RB17 over the last three games. Since taking over the lead early-down role in Week 10, he averages 16 rushing attempts per game and one target per game.
Week | Snaps | Rush Att | Routes | Targets | TPRR | SDD Snaps | i5 Att | LDD Snaps | 2MIN Snaps | PPR |
10 | 56% | 73% | 37% | 0% | 0% | 29% | 0% | 13% | 0% | 8.2 |
11 | 40% | 63% | 24% | 0% | 0% | 60% | 0% | 0% | 0% | 10.7 |
12 | 51% | 85% | 28% | 3% | 7% | 43% | 100% | 11% | 23% | 15.6 |
13 | 45% | 61% | 31% | 10% | 20% | 40% | 0% | 8% | 100% | 16.2 |
14 | 43% | 54% | 27% | 8% | 25% | 67% | 0% | 0% | 20% | 12.3 |
YTD | 28% | 43% | 17% | 2% | 9% | 23% | 28% | 6% | 7% | 7.2 |
The rookie isn’t seeing much action in the passing game, and the Chiefs don’t feed him inside the five-yard line where they pass the third-most at 67%. These two factors typically keep Pacheco in the low-end RB2 range of the rankings, but this week he gets a special treat with a matchup against the Texans.
Houston allows the most rushing attempts (33.9) and yards (165) per game in non-overtime play. Pacheco has a shot at a 20-plus-touch game in a contest where Kansas City is favored by two TDs.
Pacheco moves into the high-end RB2 conversation this weekend as the RB13.
Tier 4 – Brian Robinson Jr.
Robinson averages 17.3 rushing attempts per game and gets a great matchup against a Giants run defense that allows the fourth-most rushing yards per game (147) in non-overtime play.
Antonio Gibson figures to remain the lead passing-down option, which adds risk to Robinson’s profile if the game goes sideways. However, the Commanders have still handed the rock to the rookie RB 20, 13, 26, and 21 times in games where they trailed by four-plus points on 40% or more of plays.
Robinson is a low-end RB2 this weekend.
Additional RB Notes & Movers:
- Tier 4 – Kenneth Walker III will return to action against the 49ers on Thursday night after missing Week 14. If Walker is even slightly limited by his ankle injury, it will be a problem against the most stingy run defense in the NFL. San Francisco allows only 75 yards per game on the ground in non-overtime play. Walker is a low-end RB2.
- Tier 4 – Zonovan Knight has taken over the lead rushing role on the Jets, accounting for 65% and 75% of attempts over the last two games. The undrafted rookie has back-to-back top-12 finishes, and the Lions allow the fourth-most fantasy points on the ground (22) in non-overtime play. Knight is a low-end RB2.
- Tier 4 – J.K. Dobbins returned to action in Week 14 and led the Ravens’ rushing attack with 39% of the carries. He is still in a timeshare with Gus Edwards, but the Browns offer an intriguing matchup, allowing the eighth-most rushing yards per game (128) in non-overtime. Dobbins is a high-end RB3.
- Tier 4 – Brian Robinson Jr. averages 17.3 rushing attempts per game and gets a great matchup against a Giants run defense allowing the fourth-most rushing yards per game (147) in non-overtime play. Robinson is a high-end RB3 with RB2 upside.

Tier 3 – Mike Williams
Williams was limited to a 72% route participation in his first game back but led the team in air yards (35%). He delivered 23.6 fantasy points on six receptions for 116 yards and a TD.
Week | Routes | TPRR | Targets | ADOT | Air Yards | EZ Tgts | 3rd/4th Down Targets | PA Targets | PPR |

YTD | 55% | 19% | 13% | 12.7 | 24% | 14% | 15% | 41% | 14.5 |
Williams isn’t a target hog (19% TPRR) but the Chargers rank inside the top-five in pass rate across trailing, close, and leading game scripts. No team drops back to pass more (70%), and the team is maximizing the veteran WR's looks by using play-action.
The average WR sees 25% of targets come from play action, while Williams sees 41%. Over the last three seasons, play action targets are worth ~20% more than non-play action targets in PPR scoring.
In healthy games with a 70% route participation or more, Williams averages 7.9 targets and 16 fantasy points. In eight such games, he has scored 20-plus points four times. He doesn’t need a 30% target share to dominate in this offense.
The Chargers face a Titans defense that allows the second-most passing yards (296) and TDs (1.9) in regulation play.
Williams is a high-end WR2 this weekend with top-six potential.
Tier 3 – Terry McLaurin
McLaurin has been on fire since Taylor Heinicke took over as the Commanders’ starting QB. He has a 90.4 PFF receiving grade, 26% TPRR, and 2.62 YPRR. He averages 8.4 targets and 15.7 fantasy points per game during that span.
Washington faces the Giants this weekend and their last-place PFF coverage grade (45.1). The Giants run more man coverage (48%) than any other team. The fourth-year WR will have plenty of chances to exploit one-on-one matchups in Week 15.
McLaurin is a mid-range WR2 against New York.
Tier 3 – Christian Watson
Watson has a top-10 fantasy finish in all four games since taking over a starting role in Week 10. He leads the team in TPRR (23%) and YPRR (2.30), and is the straw that stirs the drink on the Packers' offense.
As a starter, a whopping 21% of his targets come from 20-plus yards. He is always a threat to score on the long ball. However, he isn’t a one-trick pony. Watson has shown an ability to score in various ways – including an underneath slant route he took to the house and an end around. Additionally, Aaron Rodgers has looked his way on a team-high 41% of targets in the endzone.
The Packers will host the once-heralded Rams defense in Week 15, a coverage unit with the fifth-worst PFF coverage grade (53.0) over the last four games.
Watson is a low-end WR2 with WR1 upside.
Tier 3 – Garrett Wilson
The Ohio State rookie has four top-16 finishes since taking over a starting role in Week 7, averaging 15.5 points per game. Wilson has become the centerpiece of the Jets' offense, averaging 24% of the targets as a starter.
Week | Routes | TPRR | Targets | ADOT | Air Yards | EZ Tgts | 3rd/4th Down Targets | PA Targets | PPR |
7 | 88% | 13% | 17% | 1.5 | 6% | 0% | 0% | 25% | 6.5 |
8 | 98% | 17% | 21% | 8.4 | 17% | 0% | 18% | 29% | 17.5 |
9 | 97% | 32% | 38% | 8.2 | 51% | 100% | 17% | 44% | 16.7 |
11 | 100% | 10% | 17% | 10.0 | 16% | 0% | 13% | 33% | 3.2 |
12 | 90% | 29% | 29% | 7.3 | 35% | 100% | 9% | 50% | 26.4 |
13 | 90% | 27% | 27% | 16.4 | 50% | 25% | 13% | 36% | 24.2 |
14 | 100% | 14% | 17% | 11.6 | 24% | 0% | 36% | 0% | 13.8 |
YTD | 82% | 22% | 23% | 9.8 | 27% | 38% | 22% | 25% | 13.3 |
The rookie is playing at an elite level, ranking 18th in YPRR (2.00) and 12th in PFF receiving grade (84.7) out of 82 WRs with at least 250 routes. Since 2011, only eight other WRs have delivered a PFF receiving grade of 82 or higher in their rookie season: Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, A.J. Brown, Terry McLaurin, Michael Thomas, Odell Beckham Jr., Mike Evans, and Keenan Allen.
Wilson’s future is bright, and we need to look no further than Week 15 this season for a blow-up game opportunity. The Jets face a Lions defense with the third-worst PFF coverage grade (52.4). Detroit allows the third-most receiving yards per game (276) in non-regulation play and deploys the third-most man coverage (36%), where Wilson feasts (28% TPRR).
Wilson’s future is bright, but unfortunately, the Jets will start Zach Wilson this weekend. This development reduces the rookie’s upside and floor.
Wilson started the week as a sure-fire top-eight option, but downgrades to boom-bust WR2 material with the QB change.
Additional WR Notes & Movers:
- Tier 1 – Stefon Diggs matches up against a man-heavy Dolphins coverage unit (37%) that allows the sixth-most receiving yards per game in non-overtime play (260). Josh Allen looks Diggs’ way 34% of the time he faces man coverage. The veteran WR demanded 11 targets in Week 3 against Miami. Diggs is my No. 1 WR in Week 15.
- Tier 1 – Ja’Marr Chase saw an eye-popping 17 targets (50%) last weekend. Tee Higgins (hamstring) and Tyler Boyd (finger) are both questionable for Week 15 against the Buccaneers. Chase moves into the top spot this weekend if Higgins and Boyd are out.
- Tier 2 – Keenan Allen averages 10.5 targets per game since his return and is Justin Herbert’s most-trusted weapon in critical situations. The Titans allow the second-most receiving yards per game (296) in non-overtime play. The Chargers have a top-five team total. Allen is a must-start WR1.
- Tier 3 – Chris Olave has four sub-WR36 outings over his last six games, averaging 7.7 targets per game. He leads the team in targets, with a 26% TPRR, and his 2.45 YPRR is elite. The Saints face the Falcons' defense that allows the sixth-most receiving yards (260) per game in regulation play. The rookie is a low-end WR2.
- Tier 3 – Jerry Jeudy erupted with three receiving TDs in Week 14, and while he won’t likely repeat that feat, he is the Broncos WR1 (22% TPRR), and Courtland Sutton might not play again. There might not be many points in a contest against the Cardinals, but it is a plus matchup. Jeudy is a high-end WR3.

Tier 2 – Dalton Schultz
Schultz is finally playing a full-time role after battling an MCL injury most of the season. He has elite route participation over the last two games (91% and 88%) and is the Cowboys' No. 2 target (22% TPRR) behind CeeDee Lamb. The veteran TE has four top-five finishes in his last six contests and is due for a big game.
The matchup against the Jaguars could be a shootout, with the third-highest game total on the slate. Plus, Jacksonville allows the fifth-most passing yards per game (264) in non-overtime play.
Schultz is a SMASH play in Week 15 as a top-three option.
Tier 2 – George Kittle
Over the last three seasons, Kittle registered a 26% TPRR in games without Deebo Samuel – a six percentage point difference versus games with Samuel. With Samuel out, Kittle will have less target competition in a matchup against division rival Seattle.
The 49ers will continue to lean on their run game as much as possible – especially given the QB injuries – but Kittle has big-play potential that allows him to win on efficiency.
Kittle moves back into the mid-range TE1 tier.
Additional TE Notes & Movers:
Tier 4 – David Njoku averages 12.6 points in healthy games and has a top-eight finish in four of his last six outings. He ranks sixth in YPRR (1.80) and TPRR (21%). He is a mid-range TE1 against the Ravens.
