Titans @ Chargers (-2.5) - 47.5 total
We have a critical matchup between two AFC playoff hopefuls, with the Titans traveling to Los Angeles to take on a Chargers team that has made a habit of playing in close games recently. The Chargers’ last six matchups have all been one possession games and they have gone 3-3 in those contests. Meanwhile, the Titans will try to snap a three game losing streak that has caused them to tumble down the AFC standings.
This game will feature Fantasy Life’s 2nd and 3rd ranked running backs for Week 15. As usual, the Titans will feed Derrick Henry early and often as they try to take advantage of a Chargers run defense that has struggled to slow down opponents all year. The Titans defense, however, has been one of the best at limiting their opponents’ ground game, so this may be a game where Austin Ekeler does his damage through the air and is much more valuable in PPR leagues.
The rest of the Chargers’ skill position players are finally healthy after missing key pieces for most of this season. While this may cause the targets to be spread out a bit more than we want, it should make things easier on Justin Herbert in a matchup where he will likely be asked to throw the ball a lot. Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Gerald Everett are all strong starting options this week, while Josh Palmer is a low-level flex play.
On the Titans' side, the big question mark is whether or not Treylon Burks will be available after missing last week following the concussion he suffered in Week 13. Without Burks, the entire Tennessee offense will suffer, but it could provide an opportunity for Chig Okonkwo to continue his mini-breakout. The rookie TE has drawn 5+ targets in each of his last three games and could be a player to keep an eye on heading into next year.
