Week 15 Fantasy Football Rankings And Tiers. A.J. Brown Set To Soar.
It is time to make those tough lineup decisions for Week 15 of the fantasy football season.
Below, you’ll find positional rankings, player analysis, team totals and spreads for every game on the slate.
Notes:
- Players are now tiered across all positions (RB, WR and TE) to help with flex decisions in larger formats. Because of this, TEs might not have a player deserving of Tier 1 compared to RBs and WRs.
- Defensive yards and TDs allowed exclude overtime play.
- All references to defensive ranks are for this week (bye Week teams excluded).

Tier 3 – Matthew Stafford
Over the last three games, Stafford is on a roll with consecutive top-eight QB finishes, averaging 23.7 points per game thanks to 267 yards and 3.3 TDs per contest. Perhaps even more impressive, he dusted two of the stingiest pass defenses in the NFL for three TD tosses — the Browns and Ravens.
To begin the year, we saw potential in Stafford with large yardage totals — compiling 307 yards per contest — but the TDs didn’t cooperate (0.8). The Rams' offense boasts two high-caliber WRs and a great playcaller — they could be peaking at just the right time. Fantasy managers might have the 2021 version of Stafford when he was the QB5 with 20.4 points per game.
The red-hot 35-year-old QB lands one of the juiciest passing matchups in the NFL against the Commanders in Week 15. Washington allows the fourth-most passing yards (278) and the most TDs (2.3). Opponents have torched this pass defense for the second-most fantasy points per game in 2023.
Let’s be honest — this weekend could be a fantasy points bonanza for all Rams players looking at this chart. They haven’t offered much resistance against most positions, and only the 49ers carry a higher team total than the Rams at 28.5 as near-TD favorites.
At only $6,000, Stafford is likely to be highly rostered on DraftKings, but the WRs are priced up, making double stacks a possible way to get different if we can find salary elsewhere.
Stafford UPGRADES to QB7 and is in a SMASH spot.

Tier 1 – Alvin Kamara
Kamara has been a fantasy steal after slipping to Rounds 7 and 8 of drafts this summer due to his suspension. His 19.5 PPG ranks fourth behind Christian McCaffrey, Kyren Williams and De’Von Achane.
We haven’t seen the elite rushing efficiency that once accompanied Kamara’s opportunities, but he has been a revelation in the passing game, averaging 7.3 targets. The 28-year-old leads all NFL RBs with 73 targets thanks to an astronomical 32% TPRR.
This week, Kamara faces a Giants defense allowing the fourth-most rushing yards (135) and TDs (1.2) per contest. We can expect Taysom Hill and Jamaal Williams to steal away around half the rushing attempts, but Kamara will get his plus mismatch opportunities 1:1 against New York defenders.
While most RBs are phased out of the passing attack against man coverage, Kamara boasts a 23% TPRR and 2.70 YPRR — both ranking second-best out of all backs in the NFL. Look for Kamara to push for 100 yards on the ground and hit a big play in the passing game against the second-most man-heavy defense in the NFL.
Kamara is my RB3 behind only Christian McCaffrey and Kyren Williams and is a top-six play overall in Week 15.
Tier 2 – Bijan Robinson
Robinson averages 16.5 attempts and five targets over the last four games, fueling an 18.9 PPG game average in PPR formats. He accounted for all of the Falcons RB carries inside the five-yard line while garnering a 73% route participation and dominating the two-minute offense.
Tyler Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson continue to prevent Robinson from reaching 30-touch totals, but the rookie first-rounder is getting all the high-leverage snaps. With passing downs and scoring opportunities in hand, Robinson’s fantasy outlook is as strong as we have seen all year, and now he gets a matchup against the Panthers.

Carolina allows the fourth-most points to opposing RBs (25.7), coughing up 123 yards and 1.6 TDs per contest on the ground. The Falcons are three-point favorites in Charlotte, but that feels too low, given how bad the Panthers have been. Carolina has a minus-144 point differential, while the Falcons are at minus-18.
Atlanta boasts the lowest dropback rate over expectation in the NFL (-6.8%) and will undoubtedly look to pound the rock early and often in this matchup.
Robinson UPGRADES to mid-range RB1 territory as my RB4 and a top 10 play.

Tier 1 – A.J. Brown
After delivering four consecutive top-eight fantasy finishes from Week 6 to Week 9, Brown has notched WR72, WR23, WR12 and WR12 finishes in his last four outings. Over that span, he has slipped to 13.5 points per game (PPG), but his underlying utilization remains vibrant, averaging 33% of targets, 38% of air yards and 48% of end zone looks.
His 9.5 targets average over that period is only 0.2 targets off of his season-long average of 9.7. Brown is due for a slate-smashing signature performance against a Seahawks' secondary, green-lighting the eighth-most passing yards per game (263). Wide receivers have dusted Seattle for the fourth-most PPR points this season at 38 per contest.
Wait — there is more. The Eagles carry the fourth-highest team total on the slate as four-point favorites on the road. After dropping back-to-back games to the 49ers and Cowboys, look for Philadelphia to simplify their offense and pepper their No. 1 playmaker with as many targets as he can handle. This week has 150 yards and two receiving TDs written all over it for Brown.
Brown is a SMASH play as my WR2 and a top-four overall option.
Tier 2 – Amon-Ra St. Brown
St. Brown is in a mini-slump after WR26 and WR51 performances, with 21% and 24% target shares over the last two games.
While the Lions have added target competition via Jahmyr Gibbs (13%) and Sam LaPorta (21%), they don’t have another alpha in the offense. Despite those arrivals, St. Brown still ranks inside the top-12 WRs on the season with a 28% target share — there is still plenty of room for the Sun God to compile large target totals.
The Broncos' secondary has made significant strides since early in the season — when they were the worst unit in the NFL — but they aren’t impenetrable. Over the last three games, opponents have passed for 252 yards per contest, and the Lions do a great job of making it challenging for defenses to zero in on their No. 1 option — ARSB is in motion of 15% of plays (16th) and aligns from the slot 50% (20th) of the time.
St. Brown is my WR4 and my No. 11 player overall — 10 spots ahead of industry consensus.
Tier 2 – Cooper Kupp
Fantasy managers had to endure a brutal five-game stretch from Week 7 to Week 12, where Kupp limped to a 4.9 points per game average, with Kupp and Matthew Stafford missing time or playing at less than 100% due to injuries. However, the 30-year-old WR appears to be emerging from his funk with WR17 and WR4 finishes, thanks to a 20.7 PPG average over the last two contests.
Over the last three games, the Rams passing attack has been on an absolute heater, with Stafford averaging 267 yards and 3.3 TDs passing despite difficult matchups against the Browns and Ravens. The Rams passing attack is performing as well as any in the NFL over the last month.
[Enter Commanders pass defense stage left]
Now Stafford & Co. get a choice matchup against a Washington secondary sanctioning the fourth-most receiving yards (278) and the most TDs (2.3) per contest through the air. Although they have yet to demonstrate the ability to cover anyone, they remain committed to playing man coverage at the third-highest rate in the NFL — what a time to be alive.
Expect Kupp and Puka Nacua to receive ample opportunities to shine in mismatch situations that Stafford will see presnap. I am ahead of industry consensus on both WRs this weekend but give a slight edge to Kupp as the Rams' No. 1 option against man coverage with a 32% TPRR.
Unfortunately, Kupp’s price tag never fully plummeted on DraftKings, and after the last two solid outings, he sits at $7,800, with Nacua following close behind at $7,300. If there was ever a week for a Rams double stack, it is this one, but we will need to find salary relief at other spots.
Kupp is a SMASH play as my WR9, and Nacau is my WR10. It will be difficult for both to pay off where they are ranked, but one could take a trip to the moon.
Tier 3 – Amari Cooper
Who knew that all Cooper needed was Joe Flacco? Over the last two games, he has a 31% TPRR and registered a walloping 13 targets in Week 14 — finishing as the WR17 with 14.7 fantasy points.
Cooper has battled QB inconsistencies all season. Out of 81 WRs with at least 250 routes on the season, the veteran receiver ranks 66th in catchable target rate at 66%. However, in two games with Flacco, that number is much improved at 81%.
The Bears have been an improved pass defense as of late, but they have also had a more manageable schedule over the last seven games with three great QB matchups against Brian Hoyer, Bryce Young and Joshua Dobbs.
Cooper UPGRADES to low-end WR2 status and carries WR1 upside — he ranks 10 spots ahead of industry consensus as a top-50 overall play.

Reminder: I have leveled my tiers across RB, WR and TE to help with flex lineup decisions. So, getting to Tier 1 is hard – often, Tier 2 is where you will find my highest-ranked TE.
Tier 4 – Evan Engram
Without Christian Kirk roaming the middle of the field over the last two games, Engram has looked like a high-end TE1. The veteran has averaged 10.5 targets (25%) and 28 fantasy points as the primary mismatch player against inside coverage.
While we can’t expect Engram to sustain this pace — Zay Jones and Calvin Ridley are still viable competition — he stands the most to gain with the loss of Kirk. The former Round 1 NFL draft pick now leads the Jaguars with a 23% target share on the season.
The Ravens are the seventh-most stingy pass defense, allowing only 210 yards per game. However, the Jaguars' passing attack is ascending, averaging 285 yards and two TD passes per contest over the last four outings, despite Trevor Lawrence battling an ankle injury.
Engram UPGRADES to mid-range TE1 status as my TE6 despite the tough matchup.
